I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay at 1874 Guest House was! It is such a beautiful place, filled with antiques and flowers. The grounds are carefully maintained and relaxing by the pool is wonderful, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The flowers attract butterflies! The suites are decorated individually and gorgeous. Cookie with Rusty, her husband, oversees the property and is super attentive to guests' needs. They are very knowledgeable about the area and so friendly, making you feel at home. She also provides the delicious gourmet breakfast and the generous charcuterie for the social hour in the afternoon. I didn't want to leave! I'm already making plans to come back!
Everything is beautiful and on point here! Very attentive and intimate. Only 4 rooms but each gorgeous! Breakfast is amazing and charcuterie boards everyday at 5! You will not want to leave! The grounds and pool is small and intimate but perfect! Worth it.

The 1874 Guest House is dreamy - the pictures don't do it justice! The best place to stay in Galveston, Texas, and the staff is beyond helpful. Would highly recommend!
