This place.." That Place " has never disappointed in all the years I've eaten here. When I get a craving for a good piece of Prime Rib this place.." That Place " is my go to. They have Fried Potatoes too..I believe they're called " Cottage Fries " at this place.." That Place " and good Lettuce Salads and a nice bowl of Cottage Cheese available as sides. It is absolutely one of my favorite local meals and it's always good. Tonight I even had a piece of pie, I'm normally not a sweets lover but the server described a pie they had and I wish I could remember the name..I'll call it " That Pie from That Place " !! LOL It was amazing !!!
It has been 25 years since I've been here. Our service was fantastic. The Prime Rib was so lean and tender. The walleye was lightly breaded and very tasty as well. Save room for the black dirt dessert!
The food and service are excellent! Billie was our server the last time we were there, she hardly missed a beat, and the place was packed! Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. They're always busy, and there's a reason for that! It's so worth it! We love the Saturday night prime rib specials! The walleye is unbelievable! Don't even get me started on the dirt cake! Yum! Worth the trip to Conrad!
It's a rather interesting atmosphere n decor. U can leave a business card to deco there wall! Cozy bar/waiting area(I would strongly recommend reserv). They r upscale priced. I usually love eating here, as they've got very yummy prime rib on Sat nites. Tonites specials were prime rib of pork n a 12oz top sirloin. Not quite understanding y they charged the same price for sirloin special as the better, same size, reg price as the ribeye. I opted to try the stuffed sole. Most dinners come w/choice of salad(lettuce has chse n fritos), n tato w/Texas toast. Tonite they were a lil busy for a wknite and had a new cook. My stf sole was tiny and it and my veggies were hardly warm and undercooked. Like my steak, but NOT fish med rare. Will be back, calling time a fluke.
The food was amazing and we had 1 waitress for table of 12 and she was very good and got all the drinks and food out quickly and was hot and fresh will go back
Me and my steps on went there for the 1st time and we loved it so much that we we will be back over and over amazing food amazing service. Amazing service amazing atmosphere make sure you make a reservation.
As an out of town customer for over 20 years our visit last night will be the last. That Place has gone down hill over several years. Last night’s chicken kabob was tough and way over cooked. The ground sirloin steak was also tough and looked like it had been run over…. Packed way too much… and extremely salty. The seafood pasta salad that we always enjoy…. Omg. It was flooded in its Mayo sauce. It was absolutely disgusting!!! They changed out the baby shell noodle for penne. Again, it was soupy and not the same as in the past. Lastly, the pecan pie was all syrup. Not delicious at all and for $6 per dessert they need to take it off the menu. The evening was very disappointing. We drove from Des Moines. We won’t be back. Again after being a long time customer. We do not recommend. Food quality needs management attention.
Very good food. The service was amazing. Will Definitely stop again
