Cute restaurant with many menu options. Friendly and fast service, and really cute decor. They have HUGE portions, so I recommend arriving hungry.
Got salad rolls to go, the dipping sauce is well balanced with a nice spice to it, like a curry. Unlike most peanut sauce dips i've had before and so much better!
Awesome Thai food restaurant with amazingly huge choice of veggie options. Non veg can be added at an extra cost.
Lovely people and nice vibe. This place is under a new ownership now
Just had dinner at Thai Square. This is the best Thai food I’ve had in Portland since Bangkok Kitchen stopped trying. The people are gracious, the decor is fun and well considered, and the menu extensive and reasonably priced. For those who worry about spice, just order none or mild or spicy. It’s Thai food. Expect and respect Thai flavors. They also offer take-out.
After 3 years in Portland, I may have found a GOOD Thai food place. Spicy eggplant wasn't too sweet! (a first in Portland) And the peanut sauce was well done. Can't wait to try more dishes.
Everything was fantastic they even have a parking lot, excellent service, beautiful place and delicious food.
The food here is always great! I used to drive from the NW Portland neighborhood to eat here all the time. Now, I just live closer. Lucky me!
We had pad kra pao with chicken and garlic & pepper with beef and crispy egg rolls. All in all flavors were good and food was fresh. I enjoyed the food, staff was friendly and would eat there again which is why it gets 5 star but I do have some preferences.
Outside of egg roll was perfect but inside was slightly mushy. Maybe some longer square shredded ingredients would help firm up the consistency. I enjoy pepper flakes in the sweet and sour sauce.
The pad ka pao was good but I prefer it with minced meet instead of sliced and I wish the oyster/fermented fish sauce flavors were much more present. Overall this was pretty sweet but I think the salty umami flavors of the fish sauce would balance the sweetness.
The garlic pepper dish was delicious. Again on the sweet side but overall very nicely prepared. Not the largest servings which I actually appreciate because I feel most Thai restaurants in America over portion.
As a Thai, I can confidently say that Thai Yummy Food Cart is a taste of home. The Oo-la-la wings are the best in town; I just couldn't get enough. The Eggplant Mania is also my absolute favorite. Their flavorful and spicy dishes always hit the spot!
The best people are here! I love Paul, heâs an amazing man, along with Nancy, their the warmest folks and you feel like friends. You are. Weâve been here for years, now extending to friends and family, because itâs always been the most consist
Food is authentic and delicious. Fresh cooked seafood that even to go is not chewy. Service from Joy is a delight. She is blunt and also clever and well spoken. Atmosphere is hard because with food and service so good, who cares.
One of the best Thai places that Iâve ever tried! Their bitter-melon noodle soup was spectacular and not bitter at all.
The âNong Khao Man Gaiâ was good with skinless chicken but the sauce was a bit too sour for me.

Iâve been wanting to try this place for so long, and now I understand the hype. Everything was delicious! Many dishes had some spice, but you can usually find the peppers and pick them off if youâd want. That said, I still wouldnât recommend th
Never been here before but this is the best Thai I've had in Portland.
Service was excellent. Portions excellent. Presentation excellent. Taste excellent.
Edited after 2nd return : We ordered a couple of the same dishes and the portions were still go
Thai food is my absolute favorite food, and Mae Ploy is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. With how many Thai restaurants there are in the city, thatâs really saying something.

Wide selection of Thai dishes to choose from. Super fast prep and service from time of order. What's even better is their daily and weekly specials. They use seasonal or special ingredients that you can add to any of their standard dishes to dial it
Excellent Thai food and service. We wanted to order something light before going to a concert. Had delicious freshly made spring rolls with what tasted like fresh hand made wrappings. We also had very tasty and freshly made shrimp Tom Kha Soup.

I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point.
Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
Lexie is everything youâd want in a trainer. Smart, funny, and down to earth, but also tough enough to keep you motivated. Iâve been working with her for a year and a half and Iâve made significant progress in terms of strength and mobility. Iâ
