Pro: Wings are fantastic Cons: Order was wrong and the “sizzling” entrees were not sizzling. Also Mac & Cheese was great. Waiter was nice, but doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing.
Had lunch here with several friends. My first time at a Rafferty’s and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was really good. I had it on a salad with ranch. The salad was so fresh, even the tomatoes! There was a fruit salad I am going to try next time.
It was nice enough, clean inside. We were there between lunch and dinner, so it was almost empty. Our waiter was polite and checked on us but forgot part of our order, and we had to ask for silverware. The food was good, but the cheese burgers were on the small side, considering the price . Overall a nice place, may go there soon and give it another shot.
I love this place.. food quality has fallen, like every restaurant since covid..
I order fish and chips to go with some regularity. The fish is average, but consistently so. The time before my most current order, I did not get chips/fries. Who knew with fish and chips you have to specify fries as a side. This time I did not repeat my mistake but I almost got fries (sarcasm: pathetic amount of fries) and not at all crispy. The slaw did not look appetizing, whereas in the past was reasonably good. Bottom line: I order this to go in part because you get the order quickly...5 stars for that and the fish is consistent. Employees always nice and efficient. How about more fries and a little crisper next time.
I was in TGI Fridays in Bridgeport, WV, Saturday and saw a potentially homeless woman walk in and ask if they had a dinner roll they could give her. The hostess went to get the general manager and I saw him refuse her the roll. I know restaurants like that have bread to spare and probably throw some out every day and he couldn’t spare her the SINGULAR roll that she asked for. It didn’t look like he had ever missed a meal in his life, but he made sure that woman left hungry. I was not impressed.
TGI Fridays is just down the hill from the Hawthorne hotel. The food and the service was great! I highly recommend it. We got the glazed salmon and rice and the bucket of bones which is a rib and wing combo. The whiskey glaze on the ribs tasted just like the glaze on the salmon. The glaze is good. The overall experience was good.
Ordered the chicken fingers... Which I learned later are actually "nuggets"... Except what they attempted to serve as nuggets was actually just pieces of fried coating. There were maybe 3 actual nuggets with chicken meat inside. After showing the waiter the hollow inside of these bread crumbs he says "yeah that's the way it comes" and walked off 😂 I kid you not, just walked off. My friend got fajitas, which were cold so clearly not sizzling as one would expect fajitas to be. They didn't come with cheese, or lettuce. After speaking with the manager, who also informed us that "that's the way it comes", did offer to replace the meal or a free dessert. So that was nice. But the food and the service beforehand, trash.
The place was packed when we got there. They were able to get us a table in the corner. Beer was cold, service was outstanding, and the brisket nachos were probably the best I have had in a long while. I would definitely recommend them.
The play area is great for smaller children and the whole park is always very clean. Parking can be an issue, but no one seems to mind if you park in the grass. I also recommend walking the path up and down the lakes and taking your fur-babies to the
Comfy bed, quiet room, and newly remodeled bathroom. It was the perfect stop on our road trip and we had no issues outside of a rattly sound in the HVAC unit so had to turn it off in the middle of the night. Didn't try the b-fast or any amenities s
