What a great little museum in the small town of Hillsboro. Noah and his team were so friendly and absolutely full of information. We didn't ask for a tour, mainly because we were scouting it out to bring the grandchildren soon. We donated some cash since it's a free museum and bought several books and a few plush and collectibles. Overall, a wonderful visit and we will be back with the little ones! Keep up the great work.
The reason this gets five stars is first that they have curated this little museum in such a way that will fascinate young kids and educate us older kids. It's very small. But, it's nice. Second, it's admission free. They do take donations and I think you'll find it worth to contribute to this non-profit organization. Don't forget to check out the beautiful Hill County Courthouse on the nearby square or perhaps the Roadside America museum within walking distance as well.
So, it started with the phone call. A fella named Noah picked up the phone. He was lively, excited about life and KNOWLEDGEABLE! My 2 year old daughter is OBSESSED with 2 things, Cowboys & Dinosaurs. When we pulled up.. I literally parked in front of a Dinosaur and she freeaakkedd. When we walked in there was a super sweet girl with glasses, I wish I could remember her name!! She was a BLESSING! SHE MADE THE EXPERIENCE! When we first arrived it was just me and my 2 Littles. (1 yo son, 2 yo daughter). She took the time and energy to invest in expanding our minds. Really teaching us. I told her the 2 things my daughter loves most and she showed me their LOGO!! It's a cowboy on a TRex! It was meant to be! We got to collect REAL fossils.. she even took the time to put them in a zip lock bag and LABEL them for us. So my daughter, when she grows up.. can see!! That type of kindness, and love, can't be bought! Many blessings to you ma'am & your future babies. It has so much cool stuff in there.. and they have a baby safe area for the Littles to play in a tent, water color, just really get into it. AND ITS FREE. Now, I do recommend holding your Littles close to you as you walk around outside of the play area, because if you have an over zealous toddler like myself.. they can get toooo touchy, and we wouldn't want them breaking any of that cool stuff. This was over all a once in a life time amazing experience!! I adore these people and what they do and the knowledge they are instilling in our future! They love their job, and you cannot buy passion like that! Thank you so much young Lady for your kindness and generosity with your time and knowledge! I will never forget this experience! I will always cherish this place so much and I told many people while I was in town about y'all! This was an experience that was just GRADE A, excellent customer service, excellent attraction.. I mean.. yall made Texas for us Georgians!!! Thankkk yall!!!!!!!
It's a bit small, but definitely a really cool little spot for dinosaur lovers and Jurassic Park fans! The staff seemed knowledgeable, extra friendly, prices were far more reasonable than most museums (and you know all the money is going to building their collection and bettering their events!)
Such an amazing experience for Dino lovers of all ages. So much knowledge shared by Noah. He is so patient to answer all questions. Can recommend
Small museum. No crowds. Staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Well worth a stop if you are nearby or driving thru. Recommend the free guided tour.

It was a pleasure working the team at this office. I have been a client of state Farm for quite some time and they never have disappointed me. Whitney was great to work with in my transition of moving to Texas. She made the arduous task seem easy and
We were driving from Dallas to Austin and needed a quick bite. BBQ sounded good, so a quick search came up with this place about 3 miles off of hwy 35W-S. Best brisket - so moist!! We shared a 3-meat plate and everything was so good!! Pulled pork
Overall I thought the food and sides here were really good! The meats were well cooked and the ribs had a great flavor. The BBQ sauce was really tasty and complimented my food well. It was the perfect blend of twangy, sweet, and spicy. I would defi
Stopped in to purchase a few dozens donuts/sausage wraps while in town for an FFA show. They were busy with the drive through and inside was semi busy on a Sat morning. They got me in/out really quick with a smile and didn't rush me at all. Food was
Stopped here while in town for work and glad we did! The burgers were top notch and the onion rings and french fries were made fresh and tasted awesome. We also got a root beer float and a shake that were also super tasty. 10/10 recommend stopping
Everyone here is so freaking nice. Paul not only made me the best sundae ever, but he did so with extreme care, even after I took ages to make up my mind. The older lady working in the market was also such a sweetheart. When I thanked her for grabbin
Saul was great, very nice, and he brought our food out properly. The new Spicy option on the menu is good I tried it with the original sandwich but it definitely added a kick with vinegar and salt potato chips you can't go wrong.
Cozy, comfy, casual restaurant with good food options including home-cooked, Tex-Mex, and more. Sandwiches and hamburgers looked good here. We enjoyed our steak fajita quesadilla, IH-35 special, and pot roast as well as our sides. Daily food and drin
The food was good (and plentiful) and the service was good. They're a bit understaffed so service is a bit slower than other restaurants (expect to spend about 45 minutes to an hour in the restaurant in total depending on busyness), but the server is
It wasn't bad. We got the 3 queen bed room for a birthday party. It was very spacious. And the indoor heated pool and hot tub worked! Every other place I asked, the heat pump was out, but not here. The kids had a blast and had a comfy bed to crash.
