Texas Roadhouse - Steak house in Joplin - 3317 S Rangeline Rd, USA

Went to Texas Roadhouse in Joplin, MO. tonight and it was the most disappointing visit I have had there. Had to have my steak recooked and it was still rare. The manager even admitted that she read the ticket wrong. She said she read it as medium rare instead of medium. The manager did offer to have them cook the steak a second time or to take it off the bill. I choose to have her take it off the bill because everyone else I was with was done eating. Also, having them recook it a second time would have just made to outer part of the steak drier than what it had become. So no steak for me tonight. The waiter Kobe was far more helpful and useful than the manager was. Kobe’s service is the only reason I’m not leaving a rating of one or two stars.

Sat at the bar and the bartender was very sweet. I can’t remember her name, I stopped in to watch Sunday night football. Margaritas was great, Ceaser salad and rattlesnake bites was really good as well.

There was only a couple of minor issues they didn't put lids on our sides. And it seems like their prime rib has gotten to be more than half fat. But they did hook us up with an end cut which is always nice. Sept 18, 2023 Update ordered 3 16oz Prime ribs last night. Just look at the pictures and see for yourself . That's right, 7ozs of just the fat on that one edge of ea prime rib. On top of that, one of them was the endcut, which normally is a little bit bigger of a piece due to being the endcut. But anymore, it looks like. Also 2 out of 3 of our sides ( Broccoli and carrots) were basically raw. Poor all around sad..

Was surprised at 3:15 on Saturday had to wait 45 minutes but no biggie! Obviously very popular. Had prime rib. Was outstanding. Great flavor and tender. Wife had large salad with chicken. Very good, especially that honey French dressing! Hot rolls outstanding too. I can see why they were packed!!

We went for my sons birthday. Our food came so fast we were still eating our appetizers. All the waiters were helping each other, the manager was checking in on everyone. Just a great experience overall.

Ribeye steak cooked medium rare perfection. My catfish dinner tender and juicy fresh in a crisp cornmeal breading.

I went for the first time and it was a fantastic visit. Adron attend us way more wonderful than everything else. And everything was great, the music, the food, the dance of the employees… shoutout to Adron for the exceptional service and quality food in our table. I will definitely go back! ❤️

I love Texas Roadhouse and eat there often at the one near my home in Western NY. I was in Joplin visiting family and stopped for dinner one night last week. I was enjoying my steak when I suddenly saw movement from the corner of my eye. I looked over and saw a cockroach walking on the rim of my bowl that contained applesauce. I immediately stopped eating and looked for a server. By the time a server appeared, the bug had vanished. I didn't want to cause a scene so I quietly called the server over and explained what happened. She apologized and walked off (I assumed to get a manager). Several minutes went by before she reappeared and all she wanted to do was give me my bill! I was only able to eat half my meal, and all they wanted was for me to pay my bill as though nothing happened. I was stunned and disgusted. Needless to say, I will NEVER eat there again...
