The welcome we received was exceptional even though we were not Veterans. A gentleman walks around with you and tells you stories of local Veterans and then they allow you to walk around by yourself. Very inspirational and real. Stop by and see them you will not be disappointed
best man I ever knew my uncle Stanley, he was a paratrooper and a Amarillo police officer his marriage was the last one performed at what used to be a Randal county court house next to the memorial . When he died the world lost a great man . Love the memorial it is where I go to remember my uncle Stan.
As a veteran myself, this absolutely took my breath away! So much military history and artifacts! The volunteers were absolutely amazing and carried on great conversation with me and my husband! If you ever get a chance to stop, please do and take it all in! Definitely did not disappoint!
Wow! I discovered this little treasure while visiting Amarillo. It's a beautiful, solemn acknowledgment of our brave military men and women, who dedicated their lives to serve. I felt so proud, as I reflected on my grandfather, uncles and friends who have served. Unfortunately, COVID 19, has the museum portion closed, but I look forward to seeing what wonderful history awaits inside. Who knew I'd find such a place in Amarillo?! Thank you to each person who has sacrificed their life to serve, protect and secure my safety and freedom. May God always protect and bless our countrymen who serve!
I mean, it's not much but it's a nice little park and very comprehensive for all the conflicts. I like most the bells that ring every hour (?). I was there around 3:00 and they abruptly cut off at 10 after... but nice music while it lasts and you can even hear it over the traffic. I didn't go inside the building to see if there was more there.
A very nice Memorial. Well done and good job representing all branches and all wars. A lovely tribute to service members from loved ones. We highly recommend making this stop a priority

Nice brewery with plenty of choices for the beer enthusiasts including a âdark IPAâ that was unfamiliar to this connoisseur. Favorite would be the I-40 IPA(crisp bite), then Fast and Hazy(super hazy) followed by Let the People Dance (very lemony)

Stopped in on our way to Colorado. Had the shrimp & grits, popper burger, avocado burger, and fried shrimp between our family and everything was a 10 out of 10! Highly recommend.
