This place is awesome they have a very simple menu but the food and service is great
There is not one bad thing to say about Texas Lunch! Even this picture doesn’t do it justice. The food is absolutely delicious in its own Texas Lunch, unmistakable way. Fresh ingredients, unbelievable flavors and all at a price you can’t find elsewhere. We ordered the TL burger with all of the fixings, chicken tenders, the Texas Dog, onion rings and fries. Everything came out hot and delicious. The fries, onion rings and tenders were crisped to perfection and the burgers and dog was the best we’ve had in a long time. The restaurant itself was immaculate and the servers are some of the friendliest people. We enjoyed it thoroughly and can’t wait to go back.
As a foodie, I need to re-review this store. First of all, what makes me crazy is that their Chicken Tender is so delicious, the texture and taste (although it looks ordinary on the outside, I can tell you 100% honest that it looks ordinary), but it can beat Popeyes by several strips. street. Then there are French fries and onion rings, which are better in quality than McDonald's. Parking is convenient and the service is attentive. The only two negative points are that their range hood may not have good exhaust, and guests will smell a strong smell of cooking fumes while dining. The environment is a bit old and dirty. So overall I am satisfied with the experience and I would give it a 4🌟. Because they still have room for improvement.
Used to come here 25+ years ago. Much has changed now. Sauce is just and onion gel and no meat. $22 for 4 dogs French fries and 2 yoohoos. Very expensive and food and service was not good.
First Texas Lunch hot dog—will definitely be back! Love the counter seating. Waitress was super nice and helpful.
Brought my 96 year old Dad who has enjoyed these delicious hotdogs for over 80 years. Memories best shared!! Milkshake great too!!
Good lunch stop in the cool town of Port Jervis.
Sloppy, overpriced, and generic food, nothing like Texas Lunch used to be. It's a cheap restaurant in a vintage suit. 3.95% extra for paying with anything other than cash on already overpriced food was insulting especially with a 3 dollar fee dial up ATM on site. I grew up eating here, I try to still come in once a year to give it a shot. The secret sauce is water down and bland in comparison to when the original owners where here. The patties are average sized, the buns are cheap, and the cheese is American, this burger costs north of $6.50 then add almost a dollar for sauce. I wish I could love this place but it seems every year there are more decisions made towards increasing profit instead of quality.
An interesting experience. I am older & lived thru the illegal pot days, so going into this was a bit surreal & interesting. Everyone was a great help. Prices are way more than what I was accustomed to. I recommend "highly"..get it?!
Really, really good beer! The Hop On The Bus IPA was by far my favorite, and the Blackberry Blossom sour was good too! I also had the ghost pepper pickles which were only a little spicy but a big portion for $4. Really nice staff and a fun shop in th
One of two great places to eat in Port Jervis. Best chai ever, the Indian omelette is vegetarian and slaps so good ð Heard the red masala tea is amaze but it has never been available when Iâve have tried to order it at least 3 times now. Last
We ordered a cake for my sonâs girlfriendâs birthday and it came out beautiful! It was fresh and delicious too! I will definitely use them again when I need a cake!
Excellent food started with slices and canoli ordered again the next day for delivery! The biggest calzone we have seen at 14 inches across with an Greek salad and a canoli of course! Highly recommend this place!
No frills burger joint with surprisingly high quality. We didn't try the ice cream because it was too cold out, but it looked great. Cookies weren't made from scratch, but we'll let that slide. The burger was tasty and properly seasoned. The BLT chic
