Nice venue. Good size to maintain intimacy. Pleasant staff. Depending on event times, parking can be a bit of a hassle but after 5p a lot of reserved parking opens up; but, even a bit of a walk across campus is nice and scenic as UTA has done a lot of work with new buildings and landscaping. Interesting fact: The stage use to double as the basketball court for the Mavs teams. Not sure if still there, but there was a set of bleachers behind the stage and curtain. Or, you could sit out in the auditorium part of the hall. ;-)
Saw Airmen of Note. Wonderful!! Impressive skills. Young lady who sung had a beautiful voice. Perfect for her songs.
Supporting the Maverick Speaker Series with Grant Hill! Totally AWESOME! Great location! Great seats! Great service! I ❤ UTA!
Really nice on campus venue!
The hall was clean , seats were comfortable, and spacious if one was concerned about personal contact for health .
Maverick speaker series is always pretty interesting to go to. Only problem was the stage was too bright and the background was too blue in comparison to the rest of the auditorium. It hurt to keep looking at the stage for too long. I would recommend they lighten up the whole audience portion a little more so the contrast isn't so bad and you can keep watching the speaker.
Watched Samantha Power on the Mavericks speaker series. Nice, large theater with some seats set aside to accompany wheelchairs. Good dual screen setup and large stage. Decent refinished seats, clean and charming
It has always been a classic place to hold a graduation. Having the two jumbotron screens help, as well.
