We stayed at this motel as we were looking for a more affordable option to visit Grand Teton National park. It is about a 35-40 min drive to Jackson. All of the hotels/motels are high priced so this was a more affordable option compared to those more centrally located. However for the quality of the room it still felt overpriced. It is a very bare bones self check in facility. Management is available via text. The room had a mix of furniture that didn’t feel fresh or new. The bathroom had a low round bowl toilet placed so tight to the sink that they hung the toilet paper in an awkward position above the sink. The mirror hung to the side of the sink but not behind it. The room felt a bit like a do it yourself rehab. The heater was extremely loud. Overall good for an easier budget option depending on the price.
We booked this hotel because it was about an hour from Grand Tetons. But didn’t know that they had no staff on the property when we arrived. We arrived at 9:45pm but booked the room at 6:00pm They text you a code to get into your room but never said that the office closes. There was no mention that no one would in the office upon check in. I noticed we only had two pillows so I texted the number I was given if you needed anything and I asked for two more pillows and was told they could not accommodate my request at this time. I paid $277.00 to stay for one night and could not have extra pillows wow! Not good service. Don’t stay here. No one to help if there is a problem with your room.
The wifi was down both days of the trip, and the front desk doesn't answer the phone. The breakfast food was awful. The place is way overpriced, but there is no competition in Driggs, Idaho. You want 200 characters? How many does it take to say the place is a rip off.
Self service made check in perfect for anytime. It was quiet all through the night. During the day there is construction next door but shouldn’t be a bother since you shouldn’t be spending the day in the room.
I would not stay there again. There's no one in the office. They don't answer phone calls. They'll only text. They have the place automated. They just send you a code for the room door. Only as a very last resort!
Quiet, private, secure and easy check in. This is a great place to stay. The drive to yellowstone and Jacksonhole is beautiful. Laundry and in tiny town.
Wet towels removed from the dryer too soon and left there hoping they'd dry in time? We were not able to shower as wanted. A previous guest's clothing and underwear in the drawers. Otherwise, the room was very nice as well as clean. It seems like they are just learning the business and don't have everything together yet, but I expect they'll figure it out.
Do not stay here if you have other choices. Agree with the other reviews made recently. The price is high but it’s not staffed at night. Found a huge bug on the wall and tried to ask for help, no one answers the message.
