This place is great, it’s like being on vacation even if we live 10 miles away. Rooms are great - we had a ground floor room with garden access and it was beautiful. Food at their restaurants is ok and overpriced, which is usually the case in a resort so no big surprises there. Only of their restaurants is dog friendly. Fully dog friendly resort. We were able to cozy up in their main huge hall for a night of good cocktails and life music and be surrounded by furry friends. The grounds are also dog friendly of dog is on leash. Plenty of walks and easy hikes to do with the dog. The pool and spa facilities are nice - I haven’t tried the massage service. Best thing about the place is the grounds - they are amazing and I love the variety of birds the landscaping is attracting. The views are spectacular, particularly at sundown. The resort is connect to a small private beach but dogs are not allowed.

I recently had the most incredible weekend at Terranea Resort, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the breathtaking beauty of the location, perched on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our room was luxurious and spacious, with a balcony that offered an unobstructed view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore was truly magical. The staff at Terranea went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and pampered throughout our stay. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We spent our days lounging by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, and exploring the scenic walking trails around the property. The dining options were exceptional as well; every meal was a delight, from fresh seafood to delicious farm-to-table dishes. The resort also had a range of activities that catered to both relaxation and adventure, making it perfect for any type of traveler. Overall, our weekend at Terranea Resort was an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and natural beauty. Spent a few days at Terranea Resort and honestly, it was just what I needed. The location is unbeatable—right on the coast with views that make you want to just sit and stare all day. The vibe here is laid-back but with a touch of luxury. The rooms are super comfortable and have everything you need without going overboard. I loved that I could relax without feeling like I had to be fancy all the time. The staff were friendly and there when you needed them, but never in your face. It’s the little things like that which made the stay feel personal and easygoing. If you’re thinking about getting away and just want to chill by the ocean with some good views and good vibes, Terranea is spot on.

Our experience was very mixed. |Positives-great initial impression, beautiful resort, friendly valet, water given upon arrival for check-in, amazing food, service, and ambiance at Mar'sel-Alex was an amazing server. Casey at Cielo pool was friendly and very helpful. ALL of the food at the resort was fabulous...brunch at Mar'sel, poolside eats at Cielo pool, BBQ at Nelson's, gelato at Sea Beans, and breakfast at Solviva (at the spa).||Negatives-we arrived very early, hoping for early check-in and one of the nicer ocean view rooms. Waited the standard time and were given a room with a small glimpse of the ocean, even though I had emailed that we were celebrating a special birthday. Upon check-in, it was mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, but nothing in room, no mention of it ever again. Cielo pool DJ music was much too loud...impossible to read or relax, drinks were SO strong, couldn't enjoy them. No tp in bathroom at pool until asked, and men's bathroom was in bad shape. BBQ tickets were $70/each. Good food, but no ambiance and dirty tables with little help. TP in the room was very low quality for such a nice resort. Our room overlooked the pool which was very noisy and sitting out on the balcony, we spent most of the time listening to a couple across the way yelling obscenities to each other. Service at Solviva at the spa was lacking. We had to find someone to order, they dropped our food, and didn't return so we just left and didn't even have the opportunity to tip since it was charged to our room. It seemed like the resort is short-staffed, however it seems that it is fully booked, so I think they need more help. Lastly, we had desired to have a massage, even though one massage is $330/person. I emailed in advance multiple times, but never received a response so we just gave up.

Terranea feels like my home away from home! The spa is incredible and the perfect place to relax by the pool and recharge. There is sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi - amenities galore! The massages and facials are 10/10, worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and book a spa day or weekend away… you won’t regret it.

After our meetings, we had plenty of time to unwind, enjoy the beautiful resort, and get to know each other better—especially those who were new to the team. We shared lots of laughs, enjoyed delicious meals, hiked along the gorgeous bluffs, and took full advantage of the pool, gym, and spa. Just sitting in my room and gazing at the ocean felt like a complete escape from the world. This downtime left me, and I think everyone else, feeling refreshed and ready to tackle what's ahead.||The service at Terranea made me feel truly pampered, with everyone being so friendly and accommodating. My time at Terranea wasn’t just productive—it was a reminder that I am valued and appreciated. It was an exceptional experience that will stay with me for a long time, both personally and professionally.

4 of us (2 couples) went last weekend for 4 nights, our first time...we had reserved an Ocean View Room which cost more and when we got to our rooms you had to go out on the teeny balcony and turn to the left to see the ocean...we called and asked to change rooms and was told it was an add'l $160 to move to another Ocean View Room...we chose to stay...in both our bathrooms the door in the cupboard fell off when opened...none of the staff even at reception offered to tell us where restaurants were what time they opened that we needed reservations etc...and when asked about the breakfast I was told: opens at 10a; opens at 7a; opens at 8a; and finally Not Sure...these were 4 different staff members answers...at all restaurants when we sat down the chairs were so low because the seats were no longer stuffed we asked for blankets or cushions to sit on...and when I asked about the Adult pool we were sent to the wrong pool and luckily found the right one...one of the pool boys was so arrogant we didn't want him around us...our friends room wasn't even cleaned by 5p!
