I've climbed up this hill with a friend both during the day and during the evening. It's a great vantage point to be able to see the lights of all the climbers of Madonna mountain. My friend likes to call this place flat top hill. It's just a leisurely walk in the middle of town. It's a very easy climb and has a pretty decent view and some nice benches that would be good for an outdoor lunch even on a work day if you don't have the time for something more extensive. You can see a pretty good portion of the town too.
Good place to see the whole area. There is a smallish circular path at the top where you can walk around and get a 360 view. Some shade at the top and bench.
If you would like to plan a low cost date for the wife or girlfriend. Terrace Hill is the perfect place for this to happen. Bring along dinner, beverages of your choice, and music. She well have a very memorable evening watching the sun go down.
One of my favorite places to have a sunset party or run laps for sunrise and overlook the town!
It's a beautiful vantage point and stupid easy to hike up. Try getting there for a sunrise or sunset!
We liked SLO a lot and found Terrace Hill a great spot to chill and enjoy a sunset.
Nice hike up for sunset. If I lived here, I would make this my regular run. It's easy to get to and quite pretty.
Great hike, not too taxing on the lungs, will do again. Nice view of trains and train station.

Just dog bliss! Our corgi will just run end to end chasing the seagulls! Big enough to find some space for yourself usually or make tons of friends meeting other dogs!
Cute and well-maintained park. The bathrooms are kept clean and there is plenty of space set aside for courts built for various sports. There's also plenty of free space to run around for kids, dogs, or people playing a sport on their own outside of
Well kept park. A few homeless sometimes scattered about, but there's plenty of space. Nice green grass and shady areas, plus a play area for little kids that looks like it would be a lot of fun if I completely refuted adulthood (which I am still con

Great atmosphere and great whiskeys! The Distiller's Reserve Rye is probably the best rye I've ever had, and we just got back from a week on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
It's a fun hike but can be pretty steep and is one of the more difficult hikes around the area. There's a fair amount of poison oak on the trail. So be careful. I would ensure you wear decent hiking shoes for this one and bring water. If you're bring
Great hike, not super long but still a bit tiring. Pretty steep at the end so bring hiking sticks if that's something you use.
Great views from the top, especially if it's been raining recently, it gets really green!

Super nice outdoor 16 lane lap pool. Reservations are easy to make, it's cheap for such a nice pool, you get the lane to yourself, and most people seemed to be very courteous. I'm used to awful indoor gym pools so this place is phenomenal, especially
Excellent service and our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering all of our wine questions. The tasting room is a nice quiet place next to a lot of vinyards where we could savor each glass under the cool breeze. Interesting lighter Zin

OK, so it is a place that sells junk...but that's only half the story. They (or their creative partners) find clever ways to reuse/repurpose pieces of nostalgia in a way that's either functional (like antique cameras into lamps) or art (like Monopol
