Teresa's Mexican Restaurant - Mexican restaurant in Prior Lake - 6880 Boudin St NE, USA

I was looking forward to this visit. My experience wasn’t pleasant. My waitress wasn’t great. Not sure if she was busy and too many tables to serve but I had to make sure to ask for everything when we saw her because it wasn’t a guarantee we’d see her again. We asked another waiter for assistance and was met with attitude and a feeling like we were out of place when we just wanted to have what we needed to enjoy our meal. Looks like a great place to watch a game and grab a beer, that wasn’t my ave but something worth checking out. Hopefully you have a greater experience than I did. I wont return.

Update- been over a month and this place has made zero attempts to make it right. Went to lunch with my wife. I ordered the tamale and enchilada. I ate the enchilada and took the tamale home. The next day, I was eating the tamale and felt some squishy stuff… didn’t think much of it, until I took my next bite and bit down on a large bone. I’m not even sure how that fit in there as it could sit in the palm of my hand. Fortunately, I didn’t bite hard as it would have done some damage. I brought it in that day, showed the women at the counter what I had and asked for a manager. The women stared at me blankly and said there wouldn’t be a manager there for several hours. No apologies, nothing…. I left and didn’t return. I was so disgusted with the experience that I can’t look at tamales anymore. Sad. I will not return to this restaurant, ever. Btw- someone said “love the free chips.” Refills are charged to your table now.

It was so good. We had ordered two meals they were cooked nicely n had chips n salsa to wait. The staff were nice n went above and beyond. Thanks Teresas Mexican restaurant. Id definitely go again!!! Happy new year's

Go here occasionally, lots of options, pretty good food. Always good service. I had the street tacos, the lime makes them taste very good.

I usually go to the Lakeville one. This one is just as good. Always a great experience and great food. I love this place!

This place use to be fun. I ordered a drink then she gave me the wrong drink. I sat waiting for the bill and asked for it a couple times. Went to the host stand to see if she could get someone to print up a bill for one drink. Continued sitting there waiting. I ended up leaving as I didn't want to wait any longer and nobody should have to. Not sure what your problem is but if you don't like your job then get a new one.

I love the fact that they do serve you free chips and salsa right away! And I hate to complain about something that is free, but the chips were way too thick, really hard to bite. Maybe make them thinner and lighter! The margarita was delicious!

Chris Rooney Home Experts had the pleasure of dining at Teresa's Mexican Restaurant recently. The menu offered a large selection of tasty Mexican dishes. The included chips and salsa were warm and very tasty. The portions were large and more than enough to take home leftovers. All in all, Teresa's Mexican Restaurant is a nice spot in the local community to get your Mexican food fix.
