TEL 96 INN DETROIT - Hotel in Redford Charter Twp - 14300 Telegraph Rd, USA

Bedbugs and Roaches. Laundry facilities do not work. Has been condemned by City of Redford, but owner still rents rooms out. No housekeeping service, charges $2 for a single roll of toilet paper. Television constantly freezes up and no remotes to TV. No stars given for this TOTAL dump. Complaints fall on deaf ears. Don't stay here! Heed my warning ⚠️. Go to EZ- REST @ 9 1/2 MILE AND TELEGRAPH IN SOUTHFIELD...I BELIEVE THAT IT'S CHEAPER! I KNOW IT'S CLEANER, AND THEY DON'T CHARGE FOR TOILET PAPER, AND THEY HAVE HOUSEKEEPING!

The place is a DUMP!!! Room was changed four times, that should have been the tell-all sign of what I was in for! I would NEVER stop again. DO NOT waste your money & time. The door jam crack is so wide had to place both bath towels up to the door to keep out the cold air and fear or rodents. Outside pavement quiet visible. Not all rooms have HOT water. Obvious tears in curtains therefore lack privacy, people on the outside can come up to the window and look in. The painted exterior gives the appearance of a small maintained business but the inside are HORRIBLE...The owners must think thy are still in India where these kind of conditions would be considered 5 star status....||WARNING: Do not stop, A one night stay was a NIGHTMARE. No peace due to DRUG traffic. The rooms should be free because you are sleeping at your own RISK!!! On the scale of 1-1-10. I rate it a 3 out of 10. Deploriable

This was THE motel that made me start paying more attention to reviews before booking. We stayed here the last two nights of a great vacation. We booked through Hotels.com and had prepaid, so we were stuck, short of forfeiting our payment. When I got there, they couldn't find my reservation. When they finally found it, I saw that Hotels.com only paid them about HALF of what I had paid. The 2" thick bullet proof glass in front of the attendant should have been my first clue. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. I was glad I had used the safety chain when someone forced the door open at 2:00 AM. My wife made the mistake of surfing the TV channels. About every third channel was hard core porn. We stayed in one place worse 20 years earlier, but we were stuck in the boonies then and had no options in that case. Now I look for a good price AND a decent review before I reserve a room anywhere. Looking at Google Maps, it appears that this place may now be called "Inn America".

This place is horrible my room was filthy the bathroom has a constant smell, no matter how many times you clean it. The bed smells like cats were sleeping on it, oh and lets not forget the black mold in the shower and on the ceiling in the bathroom. I will never stay there again.
