Wonderful Hibachi and sushi restaurant in Hamburg. Reasonable prices and HUGE portions. Great food, efficient service and entertaining table chefs make this a spot I definitely will return to and bring others next time I am in town.

Enjoyed our first visit here, we look forward to returning! Delicious and fresh meats, seafoods and perfectly seasoned sides of vegetables and rice. Didn't try the sushi, but marveled at the beautifully styled plates as the servers went by. Casual, upbeat atmosphere. The seats around the grill had a lot of entertainment going on, even drummers! Our waiter was attentive and always had a smile.

Very personalized experience. I had a birthday and didn't wish to have too much noise, the staff overheard and had a quiet celebration with ice cream and happy birthday wishes. Best experience I could have hoped for!

Great experience. Felt rushed for 7 people and over 300.00 but it was busy weekend in Lex. They accomidated last minute add on of 2 people to party. Scallops were cooked perfect. Probably go back again though to see how it feels with just 2 people.

Tekka is the only Japanese restaurant that we go to in Lexington. The food is always excellent and flavorful. Even without the entrée I could eat the soup and salad all day. So delicious. We have never had a bad food experience here. The service is usually on point as well. Some of the chefs are more animated than others but still always a great experience. I will say that I have had their sushi and I prefer Aqua but that's just personal preference.

I highly recommend this place for a special date night or for the whole family! Staff there are very energetic wether you are at a table or sitting at the hibachi grill. I recommend the Gyoza (pork and chicken dumplings) as a starter. I enjoyed the "dinner for two" dish with my wife, including beef, lobster, chicken, shrimp, side of rice, mixed vegetables, soup and a salad for $59.95! It came with more food than we could eat. I do recommend coming early to get a table or making a reservation in advance as this place is not short of customers. I will be coming back!

Brought my kids here for dinner. They charged us adult prices for the kids meals. They also charged us a 25.00 gratuity fee because my two year old (who didn’t get a meal or eat) sat at the table making us a party of 6. Refused to correct our bill. The manager was rude and completely refused to make any accommodations. We have been eating here at least once a week for a while now. We won’t be back

The appetizers were extremely mid. Miso soup need more miso or something it was a little watered in my opinion I’ve definitely had better, but it wasn’t bad. Sushi was good needed to be cut in smaller pieces no human has a mouth that big. I mean it just wasn’t something you could eat gracefully if you were out with someone, and no one wants to be that guy who’s whipping out a fork to eat their sushi. What really made up for the inconsistencies with the food though was the INCREDIBLE service. I mean top notch my waiter was the NICEST man I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry. He knew what we needed before we even asked, he quietly answered our questions we were asking each other about the dishes the table across from us ordered, and he was extremely polite and accommodating. I would 100% go back for that man alone, but also for the killer sushi…just maybe not on a first date because those slices are way too fat.
