Very unprofessional. Make sure Matt discloses his rates before he assists you. He is my employer's IT guy. When asked if he could help with equipment setup to better my remote work quality and speed, I was told at the end of the hour long phone call that I was being transferred to his bookkeeper for a $95/hr charge. At no point was I made aware of any charges prior to the work he did. I suppose I could take this up with my employer, but Matt should have made it clear he was charging me individually, that this would not be considered an employer expense. I would have gone elsewhere had I known. And his bookkeeper was rude when I gave her my AMEX number and stated "the number doesn't make sense, it's not long enough" (because AMEX #s are not 16 digits) SMH👎 **09/17-apologizing for the lack of communication as a professional then proceeding to TELL me to remove my review is disingenuous. It is clear that taking accountability for miscommunication or a mistake is not the goal here. No one has asked me to remove my review but the person in question. I believe reviews are to help people decide where to send their business and if a business cannot be accountable when something like this happens, it only shows tenfold to bring your business to a PROFESSIONAL. My boss and my co worker have nothing to do with my personal experience with this entity. It is not only about the money, the service is paramount. And when I did tell my coworker what happened, I proceeded to receive repeated text after text justifying the charge instead of immediately apologizing for the complete lack of communication and prompt removal of the unjust charge. This person had NO problem telling me his rates at the END of our hour long phone call and transferring me to his bookkeeper-would have been great to hear that at the BEGINNING. I’d be happy to write a review on the other business’ website as well, but ultimately, this whole incident is a reflection of a single persons service that advertises the very same services he apparently does for someone else, therefore, I found this persons information and posted my experience here, which I am completely free to do. AND NOTHING WAS FIXED.
