Your typical greedy company that possesses ZERO critical thinking, and because they have no confidence in their staffs decision making skills they implement blanket "idiotproof" policies like, "we card everyone under the age of 80 for tobacco products." They will not install user bought parts because they claim its a liability, but in reality its because they want to increase their profits by upcharging you on the same parts you can order. All they need to do is have you sign a waiver that releases them of all liability and acknowledge that there will be no warranty if they install your parts. Problem solved, angry customer avoided and they still get to charge labor. Unfortunately these clowns are still operating under 2008 parameters, but I'm glad these 2nd grade drop outs don't like money because DEVICE PIT STOP is wonderful!!! Night and day compared to this second rate hack shop. If you need computer components repair go to Device Pit Stop in Maple Grove. They fixed my laptops shattered touchscreen with the part I bought off of Ebay for $100 flat in under an hour, and didn't ask any questions or make a fuss about it. Fast professional service plus! We needed a charging port for my father's medical device it uses a phone with a special app. The charging port got messed up. They normally charge extra to overnight a part but they openly stated they were already putting in an order and would just add it to it. They could have easily charged me the 25$ for overnight i wouldnt have known the difference. They earned a customer for life.

I helped my brother out with his laptop which wouldn't power on... These guys said it would be done same day maybe in the afternoon. Next day they still hadn't gotten to it. Once they had a chance to run diagnostics, they said the motherboard had failed and would cost around the same price as a new laptop to replace. When my brother went to pick it up, they said it was disassembled and they couldn't give it back to him yet and that theu would text him when it was ready. Long story short, delays and poor communication... Avoid unless you really need help.

I brought my sons computer to Techmate to upgrade storage. They did a great job and knew exactly what to do. They kept me updated via text which was super convenient. The guy I dealt with knew what he was talking about and was super nice to deal with! I would recommend using them and will definitely be back for future needs. Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Always been treated with respect and have been able to solve the issues. Have used both the Monticello and Buffalo locations. Techs have worked on our mainframe & laptops both brand new, in setting them up, doing updates for us or getting the systems working again. Great people.

I brought my phone here to get fixed because I was having issues with my bottom speakers not working and they took over a week and a half to get the right parts in because they ordered the wrong part the first time. I just got my phone back from them today and my speakers are working but now there is something loose inside of my phone and when I’m on the phone with someone they can hear it on their end if I’m typing. They took forever to contact me and were very bad at communicating with me about what was going on and the process of everything. I am not happy and I will never be bringing my stuff there ever again.

These guys are great. They were able to fix my portable hard drive that had a broken circuit board. They are able to do micro soldering repairs and data recovery at a fair price. They like to take on challenging work!
