I was initially excited to discover a local computer repair shop, Tech-Nichol, as I was in the process of rebuilding an old PC. They had all the parts I needed, though their prices were slightly above average. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded due to a series of frustrating and costly mistakes.
The first sign of trouble was when they sold me a 500-watt power supply packaged in a 700-watt box, charging me for the higher wattage. This mistake was an inconvenience, but it only got worse from there.
I also entrusted them with cloning my hard drive, which contained my operating system and important data. They called to say the clone was complete, but when I installed the new drive, it booted up to a “Welcome Tech-Nician” message. It turns out they accidentally cloned their own system onto my drive instead of mine.
When I brought this to their attention, they assured me they could fix it by the next day. However, when I returned 24 hours later, they told me the drive still wasn't ready, which was puzzling given the relatively simple task at hand. Frustrated, I asked for my drive back and took it to another technician.
That’s when I received the devastating news: the drive had been damaged, and all my data from the last six years—including important college work—was lost. The new technician confirmed that this likely happened due to mishandling at Tech-Nichol.
In the end, it’s clear that Tech-Nichol lacks proper quality control and attention to detail. Their errors and carelessness not only cost me time and money, but also irreplaceable data. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable service.
Very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. Demi and Levi really know their trade. They took care of my needs immediately and with great precision. They even went out of their way to suggest and explain a kind of laptop that I didn't know existed but that is perfect for my professional needs! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic service. They fixed my phone for 1/10 the price of replacing it with the same model. It was quick, affordable and easy. There was an oopsies when dismantling my phone and they are fixing it- I would have never noticed but they are true to their word. Will be my go to tech fix shop from here on out

I brought in a laptop that was severely infected with malware and viruses. I was deeply distressed because the hackers were threatening to cause financial harm. The owner took control of the situation and made every effort to resolve the problem. He also educated me on how to avoid such pitfalls in the future. Ultimately, he rescued me from what could have been a very dire situation. I am incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend these individuals.
Your phone cannot possibly be in better hands. Amazingly professional and polite. Fixed my issue very quickly even with a part needing to be ordered.
I used technical for the first time when a technician by the name of Sean worked there. He was quite helpful and effective. Unfortunately he quit. Next I called for additional assistance and was told I would get a call back within something like 48 hours or 48 to 72 hours . That call never came. After about a week passed, I called again and talked to someone there named James who assured me that I would get a call back. And that did not happen. After that, I sent them an email saying that no one had returned my call. I received an email weeks later suggesting that I call a third time. I said no thanks.
