good food but very salty, drinks subpar served in plastic cups and overpriced. was here for brunch sat at the bar and the bartender was not very attentive. but she was nice just very distracted. i want to like this place but i left spending $75 which is extremely high for a “soul food” spot.

Man this place was really amazing great vive. People here were having a blast singing and dancing 💃 and having a good time. The staff was super friendly. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had in forever. The fried fish was a little thin so it was a bit overdone. The crab on top fixed that right up. Fries were great and they had an awesome and interesting drink menu. I just had a beer because it was late lunch. I would deff come back and get the lobster roll. The shrimp and grits also piqued my interest. A little pricey but the serving size was so big!!!

5 stars! From the service, music, and most def the Sunday brunch! Only hiccup was being unable to bring in my gift of champagne for the bday girl and was told the owner may make an exception but don’t think that convo happened. Besides that’s, all around 5 star. The food was incredible.

Churro Waffle: perfectly deep fried, crispy yet fluffy and dusted with an even amount of powder sugar Chicken Wings: crispy, seasoned well, not overcooked. Loved the crunch with a drizle of honey to give a little sweetness to the savory Mac 'n' cheese: the rue was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and of course, cheesy. The depth, flavors, and texture created this this wonderfully chewy, delicious mouth-feel that I just couldn't get enough of. I don't eat everyone's mac 'n' chese, but this one was legit. It was so good I would get it again. Balsamic Glazed Brussel sprouts: Sweet and salty with a pinch of spice. Slight crunch, more on the charred side for my taste, and a little too much oil. I also did not taste any balsamic. I am not sure why they call them balsamic glazed. Lavender Peach Frozen Lemonade: You definitely taste the lavender and some nodes of peach, but the drink itself is far too sweet AND it had no alcohol in it. Don't order their frozen lemonade mistakenly thinking it is an adult beverage. It is not worth it! Our server Big Country was great. She had a wonderful personality and attitude. Now, on to the best part... overall service was terrible! My friends were treated with such disrespect. We were rushed when coming in. A security guard tried to flirt with one of our friends and said something mad disrespectful (sexual, which I won't repeat). Numerous people were smoking inside the place, and when this same friend that turned the guard down was going to smoke, he kicked her out, saying that she couldn't smoke. As they were being escorted out, another friend had a bottle of water in her hand and was told she couldn't take it out. When she politely told them that it was just water, the guard walking behind her said, "It doesn't f**king matter." When my other friend brought to the manager's attention that only our friend was being kicked out, he asked her to go to each table and point out people that were smoking. It is crazy to ask someone to do that; especially a customer. If you have a rule, it should apply to everyone. You don't get to pick and choose who it applies to. At this point, we decided to leave because we weren't being treated fairly. The food was cool, but the overall treatment took away from anything good I had to say other than how nice our server was; who had nothing to do with the rest of the situation. Everything we ordered took forever, and when the food was bought out, the dude was rude because he had too much in his hands. A friend asked him about a fork, and he told her he didn't care about that at the moment and that we needed to get the plates; he was more worried about getting the food out of his hands than what we needed. The general admission is $40 at the door. This DOES NOT include any food or drinks. They also charge an 18% cost of living tax. What in the world is a "cost of living tax"? Just call it what it is and say gratiuty. As far as I'm concerned, for what they are charging, they need to work on treating all patrons with respect and getting more help in the kitchen and bar. Service was far too slow. I honestly wish I could get my money back. I will not be returning.

We dined in. We paid for a section over $300 that came with a cheap bottle of champagne. We thought we were getting a booth but they gave us two tables. The table fee does not include food. Food is sold seperately. The food was delicious, they gave us plastic utensils, surprisingly . The music was good. It was majority women in there, prefer to see more men. The bottle prices were 250 and up. They charged a “cost of living” / gratuity fee into the bill. Customers should be able to add their own tip. Our gratuity fee was almost $70. The drinks took OVER ONE hour to come while the food took OVER TWO hours to come. Overall—It just wasn’t worth it and we won’t be back
