I like to start off saying it’s not a 5 star Hotel, but it was clean comfortable, and Jimmy was very accommodating. It’s dog friendly my two kiddos loved it. We stayed an extra night after riding our electric bikes around Tahoe. Jimmy was so accommodating he allowed us to charge our bikes and kept them safe for us. The Tea Garden was clean and the price was reasonable. We will be back as the location was close to restaurants and casinos.
Room and bathroom were very clean but smelled a little weird. Pillows, mattresses and location were great. There was an AC but it didn't work, and no fridge. Overall decent but definitely overpriced
This place is a pit. Portable A/C taped into the window, could not close the blinds, noise was high. the word ''lacks'' best says it. nothing redeeming about this place other than a nice clerk who may have lied about his connection with the place...
Great Location. Love the area with many restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower is very small though.
Positive: Location from Larger Hotels and Casinos Negative: No mini fridge, no micro wave, wifi signal was very weak, Shower floor was peeling and cracked. It was hard to figure out how to watch T.V. as there were two remote controls. I spent two HOURS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE T.V. I finally gave up. Negative: ""
This was my first time staying at the tea garden lodge. While the location is great (just a short walk and gondola ride into heavenly), don't expect much. The rooms are clean enough; however, ours did have a major leak in the bathroom. When someone showered, the water would come up a pipe near the toilet so there was a pool of water around the toilet after you showered. The night we stayed there was also a lot of banging on doors and screaming as well. This went on for hours until another guest intervened. There is also no one at the front desk overnight.
The 'superior' room category seems to be in much better shape than how other reviewers depict the rooms. Our two rooms were in very good condition except from stains on the carpet and an aging shower cubicle. The bedding and towels seemed brand new.
Yes, this is a no-frills motel, but what's provided is of respectable quality. The garden area with barbecues and lots of seating is a great asset if you prefer self-catering.
The location is excellent - an easy stroll from the gondola and many of the town's best bars/restaurants, but without the extreme traffic noise along the main strip.
The manger was very efficient and welcoming.
The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.
(Down one star for our ground fl
Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
