Taylor Motel - Motel in Van Horn - 900 W Broadway St, USA

Most people probably just drive through Van Horn, TX, but staying in this room made us wonder what activities were available...we needed an excuse to stay longer! Driving from AZ to FL, needed a place to stay pretty late in the evening. What a great find- terrific, friendly service; a huge, beautiful, updated room, quiet, parking at your door, and the price to value ratio was fantastic. We wished we could have stayed at least another night- stayed up way too late to enjoy the room. :) Not sure what we will do in Van Horn but have to come up with something (hotel proprietor gave us ideas). Thank you for a wonderful stay and trust me we will be back if ever out that way again!

Working in the railroad industry, worked here a week. Stayed at Taylor motel and the place was a Diamond in the rough. Rooms were renovated, easy parking next to your room, affordable and great staff. Highly recommended 👌🏽

So clean and fresh. So reasonably priced. The owners were polite and accommodating. There’s a new full size refrigerator in the kitchenette |Very well designed and built for a budget price. Comfortable and homey.

Recently remodeled, nice, clean, and reasonable. Stayed there a week this month. No breakfast or and extras. Just a real nice clean room at a great price. Will definitely stay there again. Van Horn is not very big, so it’s close to everything. You can always go to the El Capitan for supper, then come back to your nice comfy, clean room.

A sweet motel with large room and comfortable furniture. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We learned about this motel from friends who stay there all the time when traveling. The wifi was weak and tv difficult for me to operate. The desk answered my call and offered to help with the tv but I decided it wasn't necessary. The proprietors are very nice and helpful. I recommend this motel.

Been driving through Van Horn a few times in the past year. I always stay at the Taylor. Most rooms are updated, if you happen to get one of the ones that isn’t that’s okay, just enjoy the old fashioned retro room, complete with a pink tiled bathroom, LOL. The rooms are always clean and the beds are extremely comfy. Fantastic prices that can’t be beat. One thing to note though, the owner is absolutely against any pets including service dogs. Other than that it’s always a nice stay at the Taylor.

Van Horn is a yearly stop for me. I thought I'd stay at this motel for the good price and good reviews. It was exactly a good price and fine for me and I found it exceptionally clean and I slept well. I called just now, May 2023, and they had the same room and I was nearly ready to go ahead with my information but I discovered they no longer take animals. I have a companion cat that travels well and is always with me. The person with whom I spoke apologized more than once. We said goodbye and I was told "maybe next time" so it gives me a little hope the policy will revert to welcoming pets.

Very affordable rate and room looked like a small apartment with kitchen area, large closet and walk in tile shower. Nicely remodeled. Roomed and linens smelled clean. Bed was comfortable. Pleasant check in and helpful. Thank you!
