My husband and I came here for his birthday dinner, we had an amazing experience. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful bartender serve us, I wish I remembered his name but thank you for the superb service and taking care of us so well (NYC fireman). We ordered the fried artichokes as an appetizer, they were very tasty. He also went out of his way to bring us a fried cheese appetizer, which was also delicious. My husband ordered the eggplant which was crispy, well seasoned and I had the halibut which was phenomenal, moist and tender with a perfect sear on the outside served with clams. The wonderful bartender also put together for us an out of this world mushroom and caviar dish. I wish I had more room for all of the amazing food! We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes and enjoy this experience again. Thank you!!!!

Great food, outstanding atmosphere, and the espresso martini is the best I've had. The service is also amazing and the chefs were super kind too! Love to see an open kitchen. We went for a special event and it was a place worth celebrating at!

We are regulars, they always have delicious food and good service. Started with a fabulous antipasto. We had a beautiful pesto and a crab asparagus pasta in a cream sauce for entrees , dessert was a caramel pistachio gelato.. i had to behave and not lick my plate clean.. always such good food.

I recently visited Tavola and was blown away by the entire experience! From the moment we walked in, we were attended to with such prompt service that not once did my mouth go dry or my belly grumble. It was indeed an exquisite experience from start to finish! The cocktails are pure masterpieces. Each sip felt like a work of art, and I couldn't get enough of the creative concoctions they had to offer. The mixologists here are true artists, and their drinks are the embodiment of perfection. Now, let's talk about the food. I personally recommend the pasta and burrata for two – it's a culinary masterpiece that you don't want to miss. The flavors were rich and indulgent, and it was the perfect choice to pair with those fabulous cocktails. But what truly sets this tablet apart is the ambiance and service. The atmosphere is so inviting and charming that you can't help but be in a great mood throughout your visit. The staff is attentive, and you feel like a cherished guest from the moment you step in.

Fantastic! Such an awesome Italian restaurant. The vibe, the staff, the wine selection, they're fresh pasta dishes, and everything about the place is perfect. Highly recommend!

We had a short wait to sit at the bar. Once seated, the drinks were yummy and the trio bread and our main plates were good too (scallops and papardelle). Definitely do the “bartender’s choice” drink! However, the restaurant was HOT. The AC was not on despite the Virginia humidity and we were sweating through our meal.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Belmont/Charlottesville. Staff was exceedingly friendly, the drinks were great. We had mock tails that were very fun. All the food was excellent. We sat at the chefs bar where we could see the chefs preparing the food. It was a really cool experience.

Great food and great vibe. Me and my five friends went here and all got different dishes and all were amazing. We also got the burrata and the mussels as an appetizer. The food and the espresso martinis made the dinner. Also had great, fast service from a lovely waitress. Would definitely recommend this place if your looking to spend some money on a high end dinner in cville. Will definitely be coming back!
