They only have chips, pretzels, and hotdogs. The drinks forget the bartender was friendly, but it is definitely out of date. Great people, however and the nightlife I am told is even funner with karaoke and plenty of people dancing. However, I have done pretty early.
The bar itself: no complaints. Bartenders were great. HOWEVER. If you come for karaoke prepare for them to ignore you, never put you in the running, ACTIVELY CHANGE WHERE YOU ARE IN THE LINEUP. the guy running it tried to say he asked us 3 times what song we were doing- we were standing 10 feet away from the dj booth and never once heard a peep from them. We waited 2 hours to get into the karaoke lineup. A friend in our group went before us despite putting his name in AN HOUR after us. We came for the karaoke and were thoroughly disappointed.
If you like many recent Colorado residents are looking for a Minnesota bar this is a great spot. Went in on a Sunday Vikes game and immediately felt at home. Great price on drinks and food was basically bring whatever you want or have it delivered. No kitchen from what I could tell. Had pool and darts too if looking for bar games. We'll definitely be back and not just for Vikings games.
Luv this place! Karaoke, live music, open mic. Drinks not overpriced... Staff is the BEST!
I don’t think they serve food but I’m not sure because I’ve only been there for karaoke & I was so happy to find out this was a MN Vikings bar because it’s one of the few places you can go and watch the game with other Vikings fans it’s amazing to have a full place of purple!! I love it tho every homey & dive kind of bar
I’m a visiting from out of town staying at a local hotel. I went out late Friday night on 1/5/24 to grab a bite to eat and saw this place (tavern on 26th) was open so I decided to go in and check it out…It was fairly empty but the was karaoke going on so I decided to have seat to listen a bit… the bar tender was a young woman wearing very thick prescription glasses… She approached me and asked what I was having to drink.. I proceeded to tell her that I wasn’t having a drink as I don’t drink alcohol… at that point she rudely told me “ if your not going to drink then I’m going to ask you to leave”.. I sincerely thought she was making a joke all be it a lousy one so I ask if she was joking… to my surprise she wasn’t. She then said “ if your not going to be drinking I would rather deal with customers that are spending money on alcohol then to have you here if your not going to drink”… I was so shocked that I didn’t even know what to say so I just paused for about two seconds looking at her. That’s when she seized the opportunity and said “ I’m asking you to leave”
So, about what I experienced at this place, I’m not here to say whether this was good or bad, I’m just putting this review out there so that good people of this world can be aware of the nastiness of this particular bar tender.. I don’t know her name but she is easy to spot by the super thick coke bottle glasses she wears and she also has a face with Down syndrome like features..
Hit the tavern for some Karaoke after a Christmas party. People were having fun both dancing and singing.
Only issue:
Bumned that Karaoke host had a lot of music but nothing from the Latin genre.
The ONE young lady that was server and bar tender was on top of it. Even with about 30 people on average through the night she was spot on. Fellow patrons were all very friendly. The open mic music was very good. My one complaint is that it was a bit too loud for the size of the place. Had a great time.
Freshest and best tasting bowl I've ever eaten in my entire life. Most poke places sacrifice on the quality of the fish to save money, but not this place. You can totally taste the difference. The staff was friendly as well.
