Tasty Box BBQ - Chinese restaurant in Diamond Bar - 2769 S Diamond Bar Blvd, USA

Decent HK food. Chinese porridge (粥) was very authentic. HK milk tea has too much milk and sugar compared to real HK, more like Taiwan, but not too bad. Dim sum dishes were ok. "French toast (西吐司)" was authentic, very thick.

First time trying and the food was amazing! I tried the chicken and pork as well as the duck and all were really good. Really flavorful and tasty. Meats were tender and delicious. Yang chow fried rice was really good! Check them out

The quality for the price is on point! If you pay in cash, it's cheaper too. Stumbled upon this place and glad we did. We ordered roasted duck over rice along with some beef stew with noodles. Duck had crispy skin. Gotta say this hit the spot. Right now because of COVID it's to go only. There are lots of outdoor seating

I came in september 2021. My coworkers brought me here. The duck was amazing and it paired well with the sauce it came with. The skin was crispy and the flavor was so good. The crispy pork was amazing as well. I couldn't get enough. The flavor was delicious, savory, sweet with the sauce and it was cooked nicely.

We came 30 minutes before closing so naturally they ran out of a lot of things. We just tried whatever they had left. The duck was pretty tasty. Charsiu was on the thicker and drier side but it wasn't too bad. I would probably come back again for lunch and try their chicken box.

Walked in around 6PM and wanted to try their roast pork and BBQ pork. They said no more roast pork. Fine no problem. Asked for a half pound of their BBQ pork and tried to pay with a credit card. They said credit card minimum is $8. Sure no problem. I asked the old lady cashier with glasses to ring me up for $8 worth of BBQ pork but she said they don't do that. I have to buy half pound or one pound. What? They sell meats by weight so just weigh whatever you need to get me to $8. By this time she was extremely rude and impatient; basically told us to take a hike. This is our first time there and won't be coming back.

Tasty Box is located in a plaza that has plenty of free parking . Walked in and noticed it was very clean and spacious . They have a small menu to choose from , which makes things sometimes a bit easier. My order came out fast , and was happy to see they use non styrofoam Togo food containers. This restaurant does have a restroom for customers to use . My only thing here is the cashier was grabbing food from the back and eating ,then running up front to help customers and drinking up front too.

Awesome concept: fast-food Cantonese style. Roast duck was good. Soy sauce Chicken was kind of dry. Each of the tasty rice box comes with rice and a stir fried vegetables. You also have the option of choosing your starch as rice or in noodle soup form. They even have favorites such as taro sago, hk milk tea and hk lemon tea! One suggestion I have it is to add chunks of taro in the taro sago. Will def come back!
