I love this piece of local history.!!. Super clean kitchen. Hot delicious soup!!! And the food was spot-on. You can just never go wrong with a good old-fashioned tasty treat. I highly recommend you won't be disappointed. Generous portions and just all-around delicious.

This was our first time here and the shake was too thick it was literally icecream in a cup. The funnel fries were overly fried and hard to eat. The “onion strips” were small onion string toppings you would put on a burger and cold. The sandwiches don’t come with the option of lettuce or tomato and were subpar. You can only get refills on the large fountain drinks which we just found peculiar. It was cold and they had a small heater on the floor set up. Really tried hard to find one thing we liked about this place but didn’t have much luck. The door was locked when walking up and the gal had to check the sign on the door to see if they were supposed to open. Service was okay, just seemed like highschool kids who don’t know exactly what to do. Tried to figure out who the boss is, the boy said Andrea. So if you’re reading this, no harm done, just worked in the restaurant business all of my life and know you would like to know if things are less than satisfactory when you’re leaders are gone! The loose beef sandwiches were great, but only getting 2 bigger ones & 3 small ones! I only have to be in Norfolk once every 2 yrs for a Dr's appointment! Love the taste 😋

Another good meal at an old classic. Jerry and the crew are doing it right! Love the onion rings and the chocolate malt. Any of the sandwiches satisfied.

This place is a diamond.. took the grandkids for ice cream.. friendly service and the atmosphere is creative and unique

Not my favorite place to eat in Norfolk unfortunately. I was very hopeful about trying this restaurant. Because I was told this is a staple landmark place here. I will try again in the future. My daughter and her beat friend enjoyed their floats that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Great little old school spot to go to if in town. There are similar restaurants at least from the kind of food in Lincoln which closed and Sioux City. Had Tastees and son had shrimp. Both were good and restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be back when in area.
