First thing first...The food was good, hot, and fresh! The service was nice and you can tell all the people were being treated well. I had a hamburger and sidewinder fries which were GREAT as a fry lover. There wasn't a ton of parking which I'm sure is a problem in a small town like Smithfield Va. Overall the place was clean small, and a everyone knows everyone kinda place. Had a small bar for mixed drinks and a small store section with a variety of Smithfield favorites like ham, peanuts, jams to name a few. Looks like the sidewinder fries may be the best fries on that side of town! LoL

My wife and I will definitely return to try more of the menu! We had the sweet potato biscuits and the cheese steak. Both are highly recommended! The service was great, and it was fun to sit outside and eat while doing some people watching.

The food was really good and cheap for what you get. I had fried pork tenderloin for appetizer and the sauce was really good. I had the pork Philly cheese sandwich. It was really good. The bread was really soft and the flavor was really good. The atmosphere was really good. It was very lively and busy. The server that waited on me and my wife was really horrible. She kept forgetting to bring us things that we requested such as mayonnaise. It took forever for the waitress to take our order and just to get a refill. I tipped a accordingly though. The other waitress even was trying to help as we were getting no service. Waitressing was definitely not her calling. I hope we when we do go back that she isn't there, Because the place was really good.

We came to dine tonight, which was the evening of the Mistletoe Market and we're so impressed with the service of every staff member on such a busy night. Each team member seemed to have smile on his other face and displayed such patience. I applaude the manager for working with his employees to ensure a smooth evening. The food was amazing as always and the server was very kind to our children. I will definitely be back and recommend.

My wife and I visit this restaurant every Fall when we spend time in Williamsburg. This time we ate there twice in a week which requires taking the ferry to get there. The Ham Melt is off the charts for lunch. Don't over complicate things. Good soups and smoked pork dishes and salads. Maggie is the best bartender, informative with a great sense of humor. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night for bite after a long day. The host seated us quickly with a friendly greeting. The server was friendly and humorous serving us quickly and checking on us several times. I ordered the Southern Pork Gent, a thick cut pork chop that was tender and juicy and served on a roll. Perfect.

I will definitely be back here when we wonder off in the area! Yummy food and excellent service from Lilly. Never been a great fan of Bloody Mary until today. Their’s is my basis of taste in every place my husband order for one in the future, they’ve got the best of all. The place was crowded. Be patient, you will seated. And you didn’t waste your time, waiting.

Stopped in today for lunch with family and we enjoyed ourselves. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. Everyone at our table ended up ordering a sandwich, and they all tasted great. The only critique I have would be for the Club Sandwich. I would add just a little more country ham, the amount of country ham on my husband's club was prety light. As far as the sides, the collards were cooked perfectly, the green beans were delicious, and the fries were good, but a little thick so the centers weren't all the way done on each fry. For the amount of food you get I would say the prices are just a tad high, but I do understand today's market, and also paying for quality ingredients. All in all we did have a good lunch, and will absolutely be back to try more offerings from the menu.
