This place was a gem! It’s so rare to find authentic Nepalese food in CT let alone Nepalese Indian fusion in the same place! The food was absolutely amazing! We went there for the chicken chilly momos but ended up trying the daal, goat bhuna (mind you it’s a difficult dish for most restaurants to perfect but this dish made me nostalgic of the desi Dhabas in India). We are also huge spice lovers and mentioned that we prefer real Indian spiciness and they definitely delivered. The owner, Bhanu was so charming and he treated us to these heavenly chicken KURKURE which were the most amazing version of chicken fingers you’ll ever try. The meat dishes were marinated and cooked really well. We ordered Lacha paratha with it and it was delicious and the owner treated us to goat cheese paratha which was out of this world! I’ve never tried anything like it before and I must say I was not disappointed. We’ll definitely be back for more!

My friends and me were searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite.. Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great, owner is always so friendly and kind the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel really good. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. “My dining experience at Taste of Everest was truly exceptional. Talk about authentic! This food was amazing! As a vegan, I was very impressed with the amount of vegan options available. The owner Bhanu Oli was very accommodating and friendly. We stopped in from New Jersey on our way to Maine for a weekend trip and will be stopping back on our way home! If you like Indian cuisine you must eat here!

We passed this restaurant many times, and finally we decided to try. The place was nice, comfortable. The owner was so friendly. We ordered something, and he recommended something else because we ordered everything dry, so we had one from his recommendation (well, there were two in the pictures from what he recommended because we actually ordered the vegetable, and he made mistake by giving us the chicken, but he said it's on the house😊🙏). Food were good, and we enjoyed them. The portion were not that big, which were good for us cause we're not big eater. We would love to come back here again to try different dishes.

Happened to pass by the road every now and then, saw a new unique fusion restaurant and decided to give a go. It was a brilliant decision. A very unique cuisine- Himalayan Nepalese cuisine incorporated with Indian menu. Everything we tried were top notch. A vibrant flavor with fresh ingredients cooked with passion. The owner Bhanu was very welcoming and service was second to none. Such a huge variety to choose from. Will definitely go back to try more. The Nepalese momo are the must try. Juciy and tasty.

A tight parking lot belies a hidden gem for vegan and specialty diets. Bhanu opened up Taste of Everest two months ago and warmly welcomed us. The chefs comprise an indian and nepali couple so the food is authentic. Moreover all the food is fresh with nothing frozen and we tested this by custom ordering some items. Our experience was seamless and vegan friendly. Delicious food. Hard to improve upon such a spread. The most important thing to know is that the food is superb. If you are someone who can taste the difference than this is your place. Recommended. I am already excited to return.

Decided to try this place for lunch and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered vegetarian momo, vegetable thali, garlic naan and lamb biryani. The lamb was so tender and delicious and everything was just so flavorful. The owner gave my 3 year old some type of Nepalese fried chicken which he loved and devoured… he said it was “better chicken nuggets than McDonald’s” which is high praise coming from a toddler. The mango lassi was so creamy and delicious, perfect sweet drink to go with the spicy food. The owner asked us about what type of spice level we wanted on everything. The vegetarian relative I dined with loved the extensive veg friendly options on the menu. Can not recommend this place enough!

Taste of Everest is an absolute gem! We ordered the onion starter, kukhura ko masu, lamb thali, and chicken thali with goat cheese naan and garlic naan, finished with saffron and almond rice pudding 😋 savory dishes were ordered with medium spiciness, which was the perfect heat level for enjoying for my partner and I. Everything was delicious and the experience was made even better with the kind and attentive waitress and dedicated owner Bhanu, who is friendly, charming and charismatic. Will be coming back with the family next time I’m in fairfield
