Amazing Home Cooked and It Shows! From “soup to nuts” Sandra cooks up amazing dishes! Service is always attentive - please (be patient this is not McDonalds instant service). It is so worth the wait!

The place smelled amazing the moment I walked in. The aroma was mouth watering. I had the bread appetizer and the cream spread, and that spread was so delicious. I even dipped my fries in it! I ate the Schnitzel Club Sandwich, which was fantastic. The fries were crispy and salty and hot! The food was prepared wonderfully and tasted fantastic. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The menu price is modest and well worth it. I highly recommend the Apple Strudel for dessert. If you don’t have room, MAKE ROOM! It was so, so good. Hot apples and ice cream. What a combo. I will definitely be back to visit again.

We stopped here for the first time for lunch. Smaller seating area but there was an open table. I tried a smoke beer from Germany. Interesting taste but 1 and done! I had the Bratwurst dinner platter with Sauerkraut and German potatoes. It was excellent. I don't recall having Sauerkraut with a little brown sugar in it before and I liked it. Ruby had a Warsteiner Dunkle which we have at home and is the only beer she likes. She got the pierogies which were a plateful. We both had a nice salad to start with. Even though they have some tempting desserts, we were too full to participate in any. Janet was the only server and very efficient. I'm sure that we will be back!

Had an amazing lunch, this place checks all the boxs for authentic food. The service was very homely and genuine. Michael was our server and very friendly. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a Bavarian meal.

The owner (a lady) was very disrespectful and just very rude a bad person in general, very meanly asked us to quite because she was tired of listening to our conversation for two hours, racist because she heard me talk Spanish and mocked me after I said something, I will never go to that place, I can not believe people can be this rude and nasty, thats why you never see cars parked in front of her cafe. My friends and I only ordered three salads no drinks only water and we paid 80$. Is really not worthy to go and try to spend a good time sitting in a cafe where you are supposed to chat with your friends, we were shocked we could not even say anything back to her we just left. Horrible experience

Schnitzel was overcooked, and my husband's had mushrooms and gravy and had a strange taste. Was told the apple streudel was imported from Germany. I guess they microwave it to defrost it and heat it up, not worth ordering.

I'd rate this restaurant as zeros stars if I could. My friends and I dined at A Taste of Europe Bistro on 41 N. in Port Charlotte today for lunch. We ordered salads and water, nothing else, and were surprised to see a $75 bill, with $3.50 per bottle of water. We tipped well. While it was pricey, what truly disappointed us was the disgusting and offensive treatment that we received from the restaurant owner. At one point, the place was empty for about 45 minutes. Suddenly, the owner approached our table with a seriously aggressive demeanor, asking us to lower our voices for the sake of other guests. She told us that she had listened to us enough over two hours. One of my friends, a native Spanish speaker, quietly expressed her surprise with "aye aye aye," but the woman proceeded to mock her. As she walked away, she imitated "aye aye aye," which came across as racist. Were we slightly loud? Perhaps, as we hadn't seen each other in a long time. Were we disruptive? Certainly not. Were we warned or asked to keep it down more than once? No. This was the most impolite encounter I've had in a restaurant. Furthermore, the $17 salad was not impressive, and the restaurant had a persistent fryer odor. It's no wonder they had very few customers throughout the day.

Al & his family are great people who offer a great product! So many of their flavors are awesome. It's soft Italian ice, to me, it's like eating ice cream with far fewer calories. Chocolate oreo is my favorite! Soo good!!!!

So unassuming but we were so glad we gave this place a chance. We’re visiting the area and wanted some pizza. I prefer to support local so decided to try this place. Don’t let the outside plaza fool you—it’s so cute inside and very clean.
