The waitress from Great China put me on to Taste of China and man she was right. Great Chinas Chef left and came here. Needless to say the place has been renovated and the food speaks for itself. Friendly service. Give them a shot! Also affordably priced.

The food of this restaurant is delicious! The owner and Chef came from The Taste of China which is located on Calder in Beaumont. The delicious food that we came to know at that establishment can now be found at Taste of China Express on College Street. As of this review, their dining room is not yet open and they are only available for pickup orders but I cannot wait until I can dine in and enjoy my food on location. If you haven't been, I highly recommend giving this place a try! You definitely will not be disappointed!

Ordered the Hunan Chicken with steamed rice (which is delicious) Chicken was seasoned and onions sautéed to a perfection, however the steamed rice was a bit on the hard side. All in all it was very delicious and staff is always pleasant when I venture there!

Awesome! This is the new best chinese place in Beaumont. Clean dining area, fast and fresh food, good service. Happy for the new owners and familiar faces.

When you first walk in, it looks like it has been freshly remodeled. No pictures or nothing in walls so you kinda feel like it's not a restaurant. However don't let that fool you. Food is really good and they do cover the full plate (to-go plate) and it spills. That's how you know you really get what you paid for. I'm a fan of the House special fried rice, which I enjoy. I guess the only concern I personally have is that the chilly sauce is not spicy, well for me any ways. During my stay I did come here often. If I'm in town again I will definitely visit again for sure.

I’ve been eating at Taste of China since it was at the corner of college and the freeway. Sad to say our journey has come to an end. I’m so disappointed in the quality of the food I received today. The eggs in the rice didn’t look like fresh eggs and the shrimp seemed undercooked. Also, ordered BBQ ribs and the were tougher than beef jerky with a layer of fat. They should definitely change the name and disassociate from the quality that the original used to put out.

Order wasn't prepared right would not remake Under new management. Quality and quantity of food is not the same. Ordered combination lo mein it didn't have ANY ingredients just noodles . Nothing like the original Taste of China. Manager was rude definitely do not recommend. The new owners are gonna run the Good name of Taste Of China in the ground. I had company from out of town I was totally embarrassed to serve them this dish.
