Its a nice casual place. The food is good but not great. The food should be good for anyone outside of the Nepalese culture but for anyone familiar with it, it misses some touches of authentic flavor. Overall good place to go for Nepalese chisine.
What a great new place to eat! Best Nepalese, Indian cuisine in CT!! Love the food, service and the owner, Bhanu! He’s such a great personality. Congrats with your restaurant!
We had - Chilli Duck - Momos - Sherpa Lamb (comes with rice) - chow mein Chilli Duck was very spicy, maybe too much, but delicious. Partner said the chow main was spicy. If your british and are custom to the takeaways at home, it’s much spicier so maybe ask for it to be toned down? Lamb was very tasty. Service was very good, very attentive and strangely quick. 75USD including tips. Would visit again. Thank you.
First time eating Nepali food, very tasty!! Definitely will go again and try some new dishes.
So, I hit up Taste of Everest in Manhattan and let me tell you, it was quite an experience! I decided to go all out and got myself a veg thali and a non-veg thali. And just when I thought I couldn't indulge more, I couldn't resist trying their fried chicken momos – talk about a flavor adventure! Now, here's the scoop: the food was on point. It wasn't crazy spicy, which was a relief for my taste buds, but the flavors were absolutely delicious. The veg thali had this awesome mix of dishes, and the non-veg thali was just as impressive with its variety. And the fried chicken momos? Oh boy, they were a delightful surprise! The place had a relaxed vibe, and the service was spot-on. If you're into flavorsome food that won't set your mouth on fire, you've gotta check out Taste of Everest. It's safe to say I left with a happy belly and a craving for more!
Add this restaurant to your go to list for the winter. They serve amazing momos and other comfort food. All their food is delicious and reminds you of home.
I had chicken kurkure, chicken 65 and had kheer. Food was so nice, Got the feel of ate good Indian snacks. Service is Good.
Food was good, hearty, (generally asian) comfort food. Interesting idea, dishes from countries surrounding Everest. It was a lot of fun watching other diners eating Chinese noodle dishes, while we ate Indian-ish. Best place to bring folks who can’t agree on what to eat.

Time Square on the eve of New Years Eve. Full NYE energy in the air. Busy but easy to find food, beverages, plenty of trash cans and overall flow to move around. Know in advance this is one of the busiest places in the country. Be smart. Be safe. Enj
Great authentic food. I asked the waiter for a mocktail and he made one up despite it not being on the menu, very caring and checked in. I had the gnocchi which was delicious and I would highly recommend. The garlic break was nice but definitely tast
