Thank you Plainwell for getting Mexican food right. I am from California and when I saw "San Francisco" I was skeptical...WOW...this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. Best Margarita I have had in Michigan (had 2), food was exceptional, and service was beyond amazing. We will be visiting Plainwell again because of this experience...well done.

Double birthday celebration on a Saturday night. Food and service were good. Price was comparable to other similar places. 10 people (5 kids, 5 adults) cost around $140, Soft drinks and water only, 2 orders from kids menu- the rest were regular entrées, no dessert ordered (free one for the birthday boy) I'd go again, but probably wouldn't be my 1st choice.

1st time at this establishment. Ultimate Margaritas were good. Not use to seeing a small bottle of 1800 silver where normally a Coronita sits! Mexican nachos and barbacoa plus Al pastor tacos were only OK. Nachos had a lot of lettuce mounded on top with unmelted cheese. Barbacoa tacos were juicy, but both flavors lacked flavor.

The BEST Mexican restaurant I have been to! Genuinely impressed by the incredible service. Some specific highlights: 1)our chips and salsa were refilled no more than a minute after we finished the first basket 2) staff was very friendly and professional 3) food came out incredibly fast 4) the food was made very well with a nice presentation 5) when looking for the bathroom the staff knew what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction without having to ask or search around. I could say more but I will summarize by saying that this place is dialed in! 10 out-of-10. Would highly recommend!

This is one of our new favorite spots! The staff is always extremely friendly and the food and drinks never disappoint. The chips and salsa starter is a great bonus but the real winner is the torta with grilled chicken. The portions are beyond generous and they have a great patio you can enjoy in the nice weather. Thank you for being here and for doing a great job!!!

Food is consistently GREAT, and service is consistently GREAT. Prices are very reasonable. I go there for lunch at least once a week since August 2023 and have never been dissatisfied. The chips and salsa are the best around, and my favorite is the wet burrito. Servers are cordial, yet very focused. If you go there expecting to strike up a long conversation with your server, it wont happen - they know what they are there for, yet they are both friendly and efficient - the best combination.

The service was great! Food came out super quick and piping hot. I got the Beef Chimi and my boyfriend had the Burrito Trio. Both were AMAZING! I definitely found my new favorite Mexican Restaurant. Highly recommend trying this place.

Delicious food and great service. We drove by while on a road trip and stopped for lunch. The chips and salsa were unexpectedly good. The chips were fresh and warm, and the salsa was flavorful and thick. My husband got the birria, and I got tacos. Everything was delicious and better than expected. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stop in.
