I've been here a few times over the years, and if it was closer to my side of town I'd go a lot more often. Typically I've gotten Sunday breakfast here. Everything I've ever tried has been hella good, but I really recommend the menudo and the breakfast burritos. Both are priced super reasonable. The staff is always helpful and friendly, too. Taqueria El Tapatio stays on my recommended list for friends and family.

My fiancé and I ate here to get some good authentic Mexican food. We had Jalapeño Poppers as an appetizer with Chapala and Carne Asada as our entrees. She had a Rio Margarita and I had a Miller Lite. Overall we liked the place. The food came out quick and was very tasty. You definitely get a lot of food with each meal so be prepared to either take home leftovers or a big appetite. Definitely will recommend this place as it isn’t Tex Mex but real authentic Mexican place.
Been here twice now. Both times the service was good and the food was fresh and fast. Would return again for a quick meal.
Great stop on the road back home. Rice and beans, tostadas and enchiladas were very tasty, customer service was great. Always stop in TX on road trips, will be back.
Best place for Menudo in Amarillo. The waitress came by to check on us about 7 times. Small restaurant but worth the squeeze. Busy on Sundays - go early.
The booths are way too close to the tables. Sometimes it's hard to find a server. The food's always been good! I look past the blah for the food, that's always been good.
One of my favorite places. Delicious food and excellent service and staff. Highly recommend.
