Best Mexican food I’ve ever had, the burrito is particularly incredible. So Flavorful and the al pastor pork style makes the difference. Would come everyday if I was living in SF And the cheapest burrito I’ve encountered in the district ! > patio at the back of the restaurant to eat
While I was in San Francisco, I visited Taquería El Farolito. This place is just across the street from 24th St Mission BART Station. One of the first things that I noticed when I got there was the line. This place usually has quite a line up waiting to order, which is a good sign to me! I ordered a Super Burrito, which comes with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese, avocado, and any meat you choose. I decided to go for a Super Burrito with Carne Asada. Carne Asada refers to Steak at this place. This was one really great burrito! One of the highlights is the steak. The steak was not dry, nicely cooked, soft, tender, and well seasoned. This was definitely one of the key items that made the burrito really great. Also, the sour cream was nice and flavourful, but not too thick and not too strong, which I also liked. The rice was also really good. The burrito was filled with ingredients, and the combination of all of the ingredients made the burrito quite flavourful. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very sloppy either. I really enjoyed this burrito!
I have been to all the Farolitos. And they do not miss. Go. Get some food. Any food. And eat it there. Guaranteed you will have enough food to fill you up. Or take leftovers home for another meal. It amazes me that they all deliver in their own way and they hit it out of the park. Had a carnitas burrito which was delicious. And some tacos de Asada, that were the perfect Appetizer.
Just tooling around the Mission with Oscar tolittle Mendoza in his 64 and we found a couple of Pygmy goat ranchers from the Republic of Congo that were lost, cold and hungry, they wanted to have some real authentic Mexican food, after they were done checking out the hydraulics of the Impala we pointed to the Taqueria El Farolito Restaurant, it was right across the street. What a great restaurant, the food is amazing! It was just like eating at grandma's house on a Sunday, only just a little bit better. 5 stars for Taqueria El Farolito! ☆☆☆☆☆
Right in the heart of 24th & Mission this place never disappoints! Very generous portions of meat! Place looks small but they have an outside patio for dining in the back as well! Cash only! 🤑
The burrito was unforgettable! They don’t make them like this on the East Coast! We got the super with chorizo—crispy, flavorful chorizo with the right amount of cool wetness from the avocado and sour cream. Not a fancy place, and the area doesn’t feel super safe, but all in all worth the trek!
AVOID! 1. They didn't put the ingredients properly. We ordered super burrito lengua and others. The burrito we ordered supposed to have a sour cream (the menu said it has a sour cream) but it wasn't. So I called the store and they said it didn't have a sour cream originally. 2. The taste of all burritos are soooooo bad. It's worse than average. Just random mexican places are better, I swear. The only average thing is the green salsa aauce they gave. Their lengua doesn't taste like lengua as well.. Go to CHITPOLE!!!! PLEASE 3. Parking is hell It wasn't that big deal to me, but there's not enough parking space - only street parking.
The tripe quesadilla stopped me dead in my tracks. Eat it. No need to stope for the lengua, carnitas, or cabeza. None compare. Al pastor is acceptable if the tripas is too much

Everything at our dinner was incredible . The food was amazing, so was the presentation, ambience and service. We had the vegetarian tasting menu, and loved the 3 taco courses. This was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Californios, es
Solid burritos and chip+salsa. Loved the salsa verde on the table too. Very fresh guac! Came on a Sunday at noon and was seated within 10min. Would recommend calling in ahead and just picking up if itâs a very busy time (lunch for example).
Yes!! I've been a customer since they opened, a few years back. Fresh, authentic food. Delicious. The real deal. Plus, they make their own tortilla chips & delicious salsas. Yum. ðð
Although I was told it takes 10 minutes to prepare the meal it took slightly over 30 minutes and the drink just came after 12 minutes. But the food was very good and actually the people were friendly. The place is somehow little bit oldold-fashioned

Plentiful Vegetarian & vegan options and great cocktails. The vegan tacos were tasty and imaginative. Even though they were very busy, we had out food within 15 minutes.
The Whole Rotisserie Chicken meal is quite the feast. Everything was delicious. Picking the two sides is a challenge. I enjoyed the Esquite and Crispy Potatoes. The Tamarind Jarrito is my personal favorite.
