Taqueria Don Gonzalo - Mexican restaurant in Haines City - 103 Hwy 17, USA

I loved the authentic feel and taste of Mexican food at this restaurant. Loved their taco, but their naco wasn't too authentic, but it was so yummy. It was drenched with American style nacho cheese which I preferred. Their choices of toppings were amazing. Grilled onions melts in your mouth and the pickled onions went so well with the hearty meat in the taco. Best of all, their prices can't be beat. $2-$3 a taco with unlimited toppings? Don't waste your money at taco bell and try this place.

This place was awesome The quesabirrias are exactly what you need to get if you go there. The tacos were delicious and these guys really make you feel welcome. I loved the fact they have a small toppings bar that let's you set up your tacos just how u want it. Plenty of sauce. The bathrooms were clean. And the custom tables and chairs made me order one online. This is by far the best taco place I've been. Amazing customer service they are really attentive and make u feel at home.

Love this place. The servers are always so pleasant, and food comes out super fast. Delicious authentic Mexican food.

I visited this establishment three times from Miami. When I go to Orlando I make an effort to come here. The food is excellent and the service is good. If you wish to eat real Mexican food, this is the place. Their burrito is excellent. It deserves an A+++ Also, their "Agua Fresca" drink is amazing. It's pineapple and cucumber juice. I was apprehensive at first, but when I tried it, I was hooked like a fish on a hook. If you like pineapple, you will enjoy this drink.

Great food! I come here all the time for tacos and such. But I notice their teamwork needs some improving. I’ve come in on multiple occasions and have seen one girl taking care of the whole restaurant while others are standing in the back or barely step out to help. Some don’t even smile or respond to you. Service could be much faster if everybody helped out where they needed to and had the right attitude.

This place was great. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The carved seating was actually comfortable. Their homemade juices are tasty. They are limited in Mexican snacks but that's ok. The prices were reasonable. Would I go back? If I'm nearby, yes, but it isn't in my top five Mexican places to go to.

Food is delicious no matter what you get. The food is always hot and freshly made. There is no need for reservation because you just find a suitable seating area and sit there. Would recommend for tourists passing by. Also, if you would want dessert, there is an ice cream place a 2 minute walk from the restaurant.

This place is extremely racist! We sat down and ordered food. Everyone around us got their food before us... even though we came before them! Even the waiter said she didn't understand why everyone was receiving their food before us. And we only ordered TACOS! We were the only African Americans in the restaurant. I have never been treated this way in an establishment and I am APALLED at the racism and disregard they showed us. DO NOT EAT HERE!! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!!
