We love this place! Good fishing, walking trail around the pond, covered picnic tables, a grill that you can use to cook out beside those tables, porta potties and a playground for the kids! Definitely recommend if you have not been and are into everything mentioned above!
Super cool little spot to stop.. walk the loop 3 times for a mile .. lots of different ducks and a play ground for the weee ones

Pleasantly surprised when moving to this little town to find this wonderful park to walk my dog around the pond and there’s even a fenced in doggie area! Park is Clean, cute ducks in the pond and porta potties if you really need to go to the bathroom. Thank you Taneytown!
Very serene scenic place to take long walks. Walks that can be measured in miles. Signs posted at the entrance telling you how many laps equal one mile. Only challenge is sharing the narrow walk path with others: schools of geese and occasional ostrich, canine pets and their human parents and fishing enthusiasts who can be very unconsciously protective of their own sacred spaces by the pond.
Great place for a relaxing day. Good to fish and walk and ready a book.
