Tamiami Village & RV Park - RV park in North Fort Myers - 16555 N Cleveland Ave, USA

A decent RV park, the pool and laundry facilities seem to be as good as they were when we stayed here a few years ago. A few things to know however. They apparently no longer have an after hours or self check in procedure. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday and although it is not mentioned on their website and no signs posted, there is a 3 night minimum. A decent place to stop while passing through. Advance notice about the 3 night minimum would have helped.

Much too stringent. Not at all friendly towards renters. No notices given when things change or when we have no water due to public utilities.

My parents have a lovely place here. The village is like a photo on a postcard. Everything is neat, clean, and uniquely cared for. The residents are friendly and the sense of community is truly heartwarming. This a wonderful little piece of paradise that has a family of folks who really seem to appreciate it.

This is a nice 55+ RV resort located just off Cleveland Street (AKA Tamiami Trail). That road is busy during the winter season, but the park is set back far enough that road noise was not an issue. We stayed in the park for 10 days, and received a discount for a week's stay and Good Sam membership. The park is a mix of seasonal and transient lots. Shopping of every nature is close by. The bathrooms and showers were newer, spacious, and kept immaculately clean. The laundry had multiple washers and dryers, for good reason--they were often busy. The pool was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed the free ice available at the bathhouse and the daily trash pick-up. The office was closed when we checked in (Tuesday 1 PM), but there was a note on the door with our campsite number. The office staff was very busy nearly every time I was there. I would have rated it higher if not for: (1) no shade, we had one very small palm on our lot, (2) narrow, short sites--we had to park our small car crosswise on our lot or along side the coach as our 27' motorhome took up most of the length of the site. Our neighbors were also close on each side. (3) waiting list for picnic tables--it was day 3 before we had a table delivered to our site. This park is a great value, as cheap or cheaper than the area State Parks, with more amenities.

Wonderful early afternoon for food truck night. Great, friendly people, clean resort. Thank you for having Scoop Me Up Ice Cream!! We look forward to returning.

Great park. Resident owned. Very clean park with a ton of spaces. Great value for the money. Nice memorial/monument to US and Canadian military by pool, shuffle board, laundry and meeting hall. Packed at season, almost empty in summer. Dog friendly, quiet, safe and relaxing environment. All major gas stations, banks, mix of restaurants, and retail stores within 5 miles. Beauty shop/nail shop next to office at entrance. No regular planned activities, but old Shell Factory across the street has flea markets in am, car show once a week, and more too.

I've stayed here a couple times. Friendly, helpful staff, mailboxes, winter activities, great pool. It is crowded, but I have not noticed any issues with folks. Even wifi actually works better than most parks. Summers everything is still good except only about 15 rigs and no park activities. I've full-timed around the eastern half of US. This is a nice park.

Absolutely love it. We have gone for 2 years and will be returning next year. Everyone is so friendly and it is very clean. They have a dog park which is wonderful if you have pets. Plenty of things to keep you busy if you want with activities. Highly recommend a stay there.
