An incredibly eye opening experience! We left with a completely different view of the history we've been taught compared to reality, so sad, and wished we could apologize to everyone on behalf of all the awful things we did to all the native tribes. Very informative along with stunning displays and pictures. Incredibly clean, well laid out, and the staff is very friendly. We believe everyone should experience this museum to understand the truth of our nation's history.

Visited the museum while staying at the Wildhorse RV park. Highly recommend, very informative, and amazing historical displays!

Wonderful and beautiful exhibits, Good Lessons on the tribes that were located in this area. I enjoyed my visit.

Hats off to the curator. The visual/hands-on /audio/written exhibits explain the history of the nations and people here before European traders And immigrants arrived. It then goes on to educate about the changes that happened as a result of the many different cultures and people that immigrated into Oregon concluding with life today. I recommend coming here .

I brought my Daycare kids ( Robin's Nest Daycare) to see the Museum Jessy Bird was so friendly and accommodating!!!! We TRULY appreciate it !!! We learned so MUCH!!! We will be back again !!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING !!!

A truly powerful and, at times, sad experience. This was a chance to really get some education on the local tribe and their history. If you live in the area, this is a must. If you don't, you should make the effort regardless. I would recommend this museum to my friends and family.

Our family loved our visit to this fantastic museum. The displays were beautifully designed to take you through time and history. Very immersive. The staff were so friendly too. We got a snack of fry bread and corn and salmon chowder from the cafe and both were delicious. Cute little gift shop too with lots of stuffed animals for the kiddos. I loved this museum and am so grateful for the love and time it took to put together. I also love that they have reserved shaded parking for elders. We should have that everywhere! Go and visit this lovely place.

What a touching and beautiful representation of The Confederated Tribes: Umatilla, Cayuse, Walla Walla. Very thought provoking.
