I have always enjoyed the ramen at the different Tamashii locations that I have been to. The broth was incredibly flavorful, with a good balance of umami and depth. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings added a wonderful texture and taste to each bite, and I particularly liked the marinated soft-boiled egg. The meat was flavorful. They also add corn to their ramen which is unique. Great service, cozy location, street parking can be tough.
Came here for a simple dinner night, and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend the potato croquettes as an appetizer. We had the curry ramen and the signature ramen. Both were really comforting for a rainy day. Additionally, we are big fans of One Piece, so the interior design is definitely a huge plus!
Upstairs is the izakaya and overall, great experience! Food was tasty and fresh, good selection of sake, and service was fantastic (our server was very attentive). Not a very big place, so not good for large groups but perfect for more intimate gatherings of 2-4 people.
Great service, friendly staff. We were seated quickly. We ordered Chicken gyoza and Curry Ramen. Mochi green tea ice cream for dessert. The food was very delicious and enjoyable. Will come back again.
Quaint Japanese eatery in the heart of Bayside on Bell Blvd. Entire staff is super friendly and their Ramen is simply outstanding. Each bowl is flavorful and fairly priced. Extensive appetizer and drink menu as a bonus. Can’t wait to visit again!!!
Love the cute decor related to One Piece. We went on a rainy Thursday night and made it in time for happy hour! The 20% off yakitori skewers and cocktails were perfect. All the flavors from the yakitori- the charcoal, marinade, and seasonings- were fantastic. The owner was so nice and even gave us mochi ice cream on the house. Highly recommend this cozy little spot to have all to yourself!
Delish ramen place on Bell Blvd. municipal parking around the corner for $1.50/hour. Very friendly staff, nice decor, delicious food, quick service. We ordered: Miso ramen Curry katsu Agedashi Tofu Takoyaki Ebi Potato Ika Kara-age Tako wasabi Avocado salad (my favourite) Excellent dinner. 😋
I came with my family to try something different and Tamashii did not dissapoint. I order the curry noodles with chicken and it was incredibly delicious! Their plates are actually humongous and even though I do not like spicy stuff, mine had a little touch of spicy but very mild and good.
Passed by the cart a few times and finally decided to try it. It did not disappoint. Food is really good and the portions are huge. Great price too. Will Def come back again.
Out of all the teriyaki/sushi places in Jamaica, this is the best. Hands down. I always find myself going back. They recently started selling the bento box and you get so much food for what you pay for. The best sushi I would say is the PP Boy Roll.
Everything was fresh and tasty for a local sushi spot I would recommend. Reasonably priced but no sacrifice on quality. Especially likes the pink lady roll.
