I was in town for a few days for work. Great little restaurant that does get packed, so go early. The views of the river while eating were spectacular. The Bald Eagle on the island eating its catch was a wonderful bonus. They had a steak special the first night, A little over seasoned but it was still pretty good. I had the Patty Melt the second night and that blew me away. I love a good Patty Melt and this place really does it up. On the other side, they have a coffee shop and also sell local handmade items and candies etc. I asked if she could make me a Chocolate Coconut Mocha Frappe which wasn't on the menu and she knocked it out of the park!!! Definitely give this place a stop if you're ever in the area. Great staff made this place even better.
Nice kind service. The food is delicious!!!. I got the Ribs with pickled red onions and mashed potatoes & a salad. I also ordered a hot chai latte. The latte was perfect they got the latte right. The Ribs were so fall off the bone good. I would drive back to Green River just for them.
Ate here every single day of my Green River trip- lunch and dinner and coffee at Swell! The breakfast is great too, good pancakes. I love this place and didn't get sick of it. Healthy, high quality ingredients done in a fun way. I loved the Navajo taco salad the best! Really good views. They usually have a wait but sometimes they'll say 40 minutes and it's under 10. Worth the wait, anyway.
This place is a true treasure! The updated, modern room with a spectacular view of the Green River was warm, cozy, and so thoughtfully put together. The room came with a full breakfast at the attached Tamarisk Restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff were great! This will be our go-to EVERYTIME !! 5 stars!!
Food was alright - the t-bone is quite cheap but the quality is as well. Nothing too special - very nice view on a river and good place to rest a little. For some reasons the waitress never returned my credit card after taking the bill - not super professional.
I broke down the night before, so I had a full day to enjoy Green River. Tamarisk was not only conveniently located across from my hotel and across the river from where my car was being worked on, but the building and staff were fantastic. They were very friendly and polite. The burger was delicious and everyone around looked to be having a great time, eating what they ordered. I am probably going to stop here on my way back, without breaking down a few miles away.
Place of choice in town - given that the other ones close early and are more burger centric places. Here you get welcomed loudly, friendly and with lots of smiles. Waiting list (yes the place is in demand) is managed like a pro and staff very friendly. Menu has lots of options and portions - beware - are humongous. You’ll end up with a doggy bag each time. The place has several rooms but the largest one overlooks the green river and sunset is really nice. Budget is more around 30$/person for a dish + side + 1 beverage + tip and tax. A real good place to go for all type of meals. Unexpected in such a remote place like Green River.
Was allowed to park our Semi in the dirt lot next to the restaurant to dine in. Had a nice view from our seats. Food was fresh and came out fairly quickly. Highly recommend the tamarisk omelette, and my husband had a standard egg and bacon breakfast he was pleased with. Best toast I've had in a long time. Definitely will be back next time in Green River.

Damn! What a wonderful find in the middle of nowhere. We so often are exhausted after driving for so many hours and have thought about stopping in Green River. But there never seem to be somewhere smart to stay. These Skyfall guest rooms are sick. Ye
Ray's Tavern is a simple place just off the main loop on Green River. The menu is simple and kids can eat here as well. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was delicious and cooked perfectly. I wish they had some of the sauce to use on the sandwich. The fr
Very spacious between campsites. Lots of shade trees and beautiful green grass for the kids to play. The campsite map made it look like we would have a river view but it was about 1/4 mile to the river. Beautiful golf course and disc golf course on

I donât normally eat at Arbyâs, but I have to say the service was top notch. My partner and I went in around 10:15pm after a long day of driving and I donât know if they were about to close or were just slow, but the wait was maybe 5 minutes, w
