This place is the best. The tamales are fresh, plump, light, and savory. They fill you up with out weighing you down, no lard. I really love the spinach with cheese, and Pineapple tamales. The jimacia is refreshing too. Tasty eats that don't break the bank. Happiness 😊
Went the day before Christmas Eve, super long lines so that made me think that these tamales had to be great. After almost an hour waiting in line we finally got our order to go. Best tamales ever. We got the chicken and beef. My new to go place for tamales except never going too close to Christmas, way too crowded
Absolutely delicious! Wasn't sure at first if these tamales would be as yummy as the extra authentic ones sold from street carts, but they were definitely just as good! We couldn't find any carts in 95° weather, but we're glad we stumbled on this place. We got pork, chicken, beef, jalapenos and cheese, strawberry and cream cheese, and an horchata, which were all delicious and well-priced. I had never been a fan of sweet tamales but I think I'm a convert! The green salsa was very lime-y and wasn't spicy at all but it paired perfectly with the tamales. Would definitely come here again!
I used to love this place. I would spend $40-$60 once a week and now I highly don't recommend. Tamales are old and all warm drinks leave a nasty watery taste in your mouth. RUDE PEOPLE MOST OF ALL! Better off buying from Vallarta or someone off the street selling Tamales. Just wasted $40 and had to throw away 2 Tamales and my champurado in the TRASH !
A few months ago I would have given a better score. The tamales were my favorite but something changed. New owners? We spent a lot and the chicken is now very dry, stringy (weird low quality) and not good. I should have taken them back. We had to toss a lot of the meat away and ended up with masa. Music is too loud and took too long to get our food and it wasn't crowded either?
Good place to buy a Tamale!! Tastes like home made!! Anb very nice People!!!
Nice variety I love the flavor and the fact they open early is a plus. The downside is they TAKE FOREVER to take your order. There is only 3 people working and the cashier is the one taking the orders and packing them, on the weekends is worse, i will think with all the customers they get they will hired at least someone to pack the food instead having the cashier doing 2 people job.
Loved it, some of the best tamales and champurrado around. I highly recommend trying this place.
Really Really Amazing food!! We got the mushroom soup and noodle salad. Excellent! Our second time going there and we love it. Everything looks so good. Even if your not Vegan or Vegetarian you will still love this place.
