Tall Pine Resort - Camping cabin in Red River - 1725 NM-578, USA

What a great sort - we had a very quiet and relaxing stay. The cabin was very comfortable and all the amenities we needed. The on-site fishing pond was wonderful - I caught my first lake trout and had a blast. I loved that we could bring our dogs and the walking trails were great. The owners Terri and Lance were so nice and helpful and the staff were kind and so great to get to know. Terri has crafts setup on the screened porch at the office, as well as puzzles and games. We loved it so much we booked our stay for next year. I highly recommend Tall Pines for your summer getaway.

We used to go to Tall Pine every summer when our son was young. We'd rent a cabin (Wild Rose usually) and we'd stay for a week and hike/fish the area. It was always a wonderful time, and we were sad that life took us away from the place for a number of years. Well, this year, we were back in the area, but my husband and I were staying at a local RV park. Our son and his fiance, however, wanted to come to the area for a visit and wanted to bring their dog, so we looked into getting them a cabin at Tall Pine. We were fortunate to book something fairly last-minute for June, and what a treat it was to be back! The place is under new ownership since we were there years ago, and the new owners have kept all the original charm, while also adding welcome improvements. The cabins are still rustic, which is why you select Tall Pine in the first place, but upon arrival you notice just how clean and perfect everything is. The lake continues to be one of the best stocked lakes in the area, and now, the new owners put hummingbird feeders up at the cabins so that the guests don't have to! Online booking is another great feature, but if you prefer to call to make a reservation, you'll be greeted and helped in a friendly manner. Our son loved being back to the place that will always hold a special spot in his heart, and we loved visiting him and his fiance there. We've already made a reservation for next year, and can't wait to go back. If you wish to truly unplug and would enjoy a quiet cabin in the woods, Tall Pine is the place to go!

Cabins are clean . Will go back next year. The surroundings are relaxing. Fishing in the lake situated on the property was good. Made some chipmunk friends. Staff and owners were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place

We have known Lance and Terri for a very long time. They are perfectly amazing hosts. Amy is a jewel! Lane is a great addition. The staff goes above and beyond. It is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the river, fish in the stocked lake, nap, and walk the trails. The cabins are quaint, clean, and stocked with necessities. We absolutely love it here!

Place was great perfect location nestled in the mountains with a stream and fishing. Modest cabins we had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Chipmunks are abundant there and will eat out of your hands. So bring lots of natural unsalted seeds, peanuts or dry corn feed. Only one issue the sofa bed mattress. We ran to dollar general and bought a queen blow up for $30. Problem solved. The owners made it the best ever. They are super sweet and accommodating. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

We had a great time at Tall Pine Resort! Our family needed a “electronic detox” and Tall Pine and the staff helped make that into a reality. It was our first time to stay at Tall Pine and we plan on returning next year. They provided an experience that our family will treasure, Highly recommended!!

We were looking for a pet friendly place in Red River, and Tall Pine Resort simply said “bring your pets” with a small fee. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They were so friendly as well. The cabin was just across from the river and was very clean and comfortable. The front porch was so nice to be able to sit on and hear the river and enjoy the hummingbirds, chipmunks, and deer. I would highly recommend this place. They have fishing in the river and their own private lake as well. I have only positive things to say about our stay!

Perfect and very rustic location. The most beautiful lake to fish in. Every person you deal with are accommodating, friendly and very nice! Cabins are rustic. No TV or microwave. Great break from the busy world we are in.
