Signature items KAMPACHI BALSAMIC and TORO TRUFFLE are worth trying, very good quality fish and love the combination. But the AKI lunch special is just average at best. The tempura is crispy but that's where it stopped but I guess for the price range I can't expect too much.
Delicious imaginative sushi! We had the pork belly as an appetizer and it was perfection! I had the strawberry fields roll, and I highly recommend it. The tamago is homemade, though I have had better. Atmosphere was nice, you should be prepared to wait, go get a drink somewhere after you put your name on the list. Service was good, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent sushi bar with great options and an awesome staff. We sat at the sushi bar which I highly recommend as the chef recommended amazing items for us. It was also fun watching him prepare the food. Note that it gets very busy so get in line by 5:20 pm at the latest if you want a seat!
Amazing sushi, one of the best in Utah hands down. Their miso soup is out of this world good and I've tried it countless times at other restaurants. It's too bad the bowl it comes in is so small! We went about 20 minutes before they opened for dinner and there was a sizable line behind us by that time, so I recommend getting there early.
Great spot for sushi that you shouldn’t be able to get the the mountain west with all due respect. Prices are pretty fair here. Fish was great quality. Cocktails were good, but not groundbreaking. I think I would definitely take someone here if they were in town!
Came on a Saturday, queued for 45 mins before they opened the door at 5:30pm. First dish with charcoal beef and tempura was wonderful. It was like a Zenga game tower, was fun to work with. Rest are above average. Cocktail is not great. Considering a sushi place in Salt Lake City, overall reasonable experience.
I told the hostess that I just wanted a sushi chef that would use his expertise to give me the best experience he could and I let him use his judgment and I was not disappointed. I didn't order anything off the menu I just told the sushi chef that I wanted to experience the best they had and he outdid himself. I get through here twice a year and I've never had a bad experience. Excellent food excellent cocktails and excellent service thank you. The picture I posted is some of their work I guess it was more of a tasting menu if you will.
The place is really nice. The service was odd. Our server was awesome, but the hostess (one of them) was really weird. She was dressed in PJs/baggy sweats on sweats and looked like she was only there to gossip with the other one. Nonetheless the place is nice, food is great and prices are relatively cheap compared to Houston pricing. Wagyu Nikumaki was delicious.
Great Restaurant ð kindly server. Clean areas. Parking lot good. I recommend for American peoples. But I wouldn't recommend for Korean and Japanese. Because it's restaurant food targeting for American peoples.

Had my reservations about eating at a somewhat large Japanese restaurant that felt a bit on the trendy side with what looked like no Japanese chefs or servers. My colleagues went there the night before and they are kind of foodies so I decided to joi
I've been meaning to try this ramen place. Loved it! I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu with a side of fried gyoza. Everything was delicious. The egg was perfect with its jammy insides. My order was so fresh and hot. Prices are very reasonable and p
