Stop by to get musubi. It is a japanese hawaiin type of dishes. We ended up buying unagi misubi and keiko pork lau lau. Both are yummy. Misubi's The price is quite high a bit. Almost $13. Thexstore has outdoor seating. Parking is limited, and you park on the street too.
Best salmon teriyaki I have ever had. Wow 👌 support your local businesses. I'll be back for sure.
Oh mang! this is our all time favorite when missing the ohana and comfort food. Since finding this spot by dh i remember we would go every weekend because we were that excited and there werent great stores like this many many many years ago but we're very happy that they have been here and would like for the store to stay for many many years to come The owners and their staff are very friendly and helpful. Lastly, omg the food and quality hands down! Just like in Hawaii! 😋😋😋😋🤗 the boys really love their BAM musubis regular and spicy and mochiko chicken while we the adults lol have our local boy, portugese spam and salmon musubis, pork lau lau and of course, salmon and ahi tuna poke we have been coming before the boys, but we'll continue to come here and HELLA recommend this place!!
It's a small market that has a kitchen to prepare Hawaiian specialties. We went on a Saturday morning. They open at 11 and by 1050 there were ppl lined up outside. When you walk through the door, someone is there to get you and take your order for the kitchen. If you're one of the few that is shopping and not ordering food from the kitchen, you will see the ppl rush to the musubi warmer to the left of the shop or to the back of the shop for fresh poke or to the front door fresh butter mochi/ strawberry anko mochi, or other manjus from the Shuei-Do manju shop. There are lots of items you'll find in Hawaii only. Reminds me of the little mom and pop shops on the island. We bought 3 different musubis (unagi, spam, and bacon egg spam). Unlike the hand held size you'd normally get, you get a foil wrapped package with 2 pieces inside. Each one varies in price. I really like the unagi. The bacon egg and spam...eh. like the egg, but the bacon was an after thought. We got a 1/4 lb salmon poke and a 1/4 lb Hamachi poke. They both come with a side of rice (white or brown). Super fresh, so delicious 😋. I'd give it a 5/5. Hubby ordered Loco moco, laulau with Kailua pork, and mochiko pork plates. That's right, mochiko pork! They have chicken too but we wanted to try the pork. Loco moco was really hefty. Thick luscious gravy over the burger patty and sunny side up egg over rice. That put hubby in a 3hr food coma. 4.5/5. I wish there were a little pepper in the gravy. Mochiko pork was good but we didn't eat it right away so it got soggy. 3.5/5. Dad, who normal don't eat much meat really enjoyed and raved about the laulau kahlua pork plate. We bought other groceries and can't wait to make some Hawaiian meals of our own. Super fun experience. Hidden gem for sure.
The unagi/crawfish masubi is fire!! It's sweet and savory and melts in your mouth! Feels like a little shop in Hawaii in there. Parking is limited in their lot but you can park on surrounding streets.
Great selection of Asian and Hawaiian snacks at fair prices. It's cheaper to buy here than to pay shipping fees unless you're buying huge quantities. The spam musubi was pretty good. Eat it as a meal or share with a friend for a snack. Poke is quite expensive.
Takahashi Market has had a long history as a Japanese run grocery store with amazing premade food in multiple musubis with multiple specialty flavors! I recommend ordering a couple days ahead if you are purchasing a lot of food or want something specific! Busy and the great stuff runs out fast on the weekends!
I love their hot meals and poke! Their curry is amazing!

If you can't find certain Asian cooking ingredients in the regular big chain groceries near you then come here. I was looking for gyÅza sauce and could not find it anywhere until I went here. They offer Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Italia
We were here on a late night snack. The service was good just like the pizza. Let me tell you this, if you buy two slices, that is enough. ð I had a small whole pie and that was more than enough for one person. They have good vegan options too!
Wonderful playground. It's divided into younger and older kids section. There is a dragon head in each section - connected by a speaking tube. So kids can speak into one head and hear what's said in the other. Both sections are fenced and gated. B
The sushi is outstanding and really fresh and perfect consistency. The rolls are average so stick to the sushi and your meal will be great! Service was problematic in that the forgot the three rolls from our order and we waited 20 minutes more once t
A fantastic park for adult and children. This park has playground for the kids, beautiful sitting area and restrooms. Has great views and fresh air. There is a hikes you can do and also can take your pets. Such a peaceful natural spot to hang on.
Really enjoy the secret box! It comes with the mussel miso soup which has like 8-10 mussels. Really enjoy the box! The scallops and nigiri are delicious. Very balanced tastes and gently seasoned. I would get this secret box again! The sushi roll itse
I didn't have a big feast as I only ate solo. The food served is authentic and you can find dishes that are popular with Asians and probably not among the non-Asian patrons. I am showing photos of an "unusual" dish that was excellently done and be hi
Looks nice! The owner offered help when I need, but there was a lot of food I'd never seen, so I thought I need to more learn those for my next visit. Some reviewers here said that they didn't show a food price, but I can now find the cost with food.
I am a huge fan of banh mi sandwiches and it's hard to dislike them in any form. I've had better banh mi sandwiches in San Jose but this place still hit the spot. It's a cute set up with limited seating. The service was friendly and speedy. I got #
Very nice place for picnic, beach time, kids cycling, playground and trail walk. Nice view of the shoreline. Restroom is available everywhere. Get some fish and chips, back park your car, seat on the deck, thatâs it. Enjoy the view and eat.
Really cool cafe and not your average corporate Starbucks. Good Kona coffee. Tasty little fudge type pastries called Barfi. The name is weird but the smooth grained texture is melt in your mouth. Recommend!
