Taj Mahal Bar & Grill - Restaurant in Covington - 726 Madison Ave, USA

As i huge fan of indian food fan i can tell you one thing: this place is amazing, food is fantastic, service is great. Not going to other indian restaurants ever again

So this was my first visit to this Indian restaurant during my first overnight in Cincinnati, KY, around the end of Sept. 2023. My crew consisted of a very diverse group when it came to nationalitiez. Me the Hawaiian, my FA 2 Mexican, our CA she was Philippina, and our FO was Indian (Middle East). With that said, the FO after I asked him what he would rate for the authenticity of his homeland cuisine. He unfortunately rated it a 3 out of 10. Everything tasted similar to other no distinction between the chicken makhani, the chicken tikka masala, and the chili chicken. I personally ordered the mango lassi per my usual when I eat Indian food, and both pilots ordered the chai (Indian tea), which they loved. The CA got the garlic nan I got the kashmiri nan. The kahmiri nan with raisins, cherries, and nutz, apparently not authentic but so delicious, especially if you're looking for a lil' sweet and a lil' savory. I like to dip it in the Indian tamarind sauce. I personally liked the food, the location, and the atmosphere. Very nice restaurant from the interior decor, the art, and the overall visual aspect. I would recommend dropping by and having your own personal experience. I plan to come back on another visit here in the future.

Just tried this for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious. I love that there are so many vegetarian options. And the service was also outstanding... Jay Singh was very accommodating and friendly We don't live close, but will for sure be back there again! Awesome place! 🙂

BEST GARLIC NANN BREAD EVER!!! Everything here is fantastic. I've tried at least 5-7 different dishes and they were all phenomenal.

My husband and I have been here twice and it’s becoming our favorite place. I’ve only really tried the tikka masala, but it is absolutely so delicious, flavorful, and the portions are large! You have to get it with the garlic naan! Also the first time we went they gave us a free dessert just for being there for the first time, and the second time we went the service was just as great-quick, and very pleasant. 🙏🏻 Definitely recommend!

Have been going here for about 3 months. Food is great. Customer service was poor. I was accused of making a mess and a friend throwing up in the bathroom. It never happened. I will be going to Jot India in Newport they have good food and better customer service. Taj Mahal sucks. Prices are high food portions are very small and the customer service is beyond trash. Never ever eat here!

LOVE this place! I get the lamb curry and it’s my favorite I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I visit frequently and the staff are always amazing. They also have a really cool bar and some good shots! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is as close as it gets to North Indian Punjabi food. Very Authentic taste. I live in NJ where you get the best of the Indian food and this place is nothing less than the best. The staff and the owner were very welcoming and gave personal attention to my needs. They did check if I liked the food or if they could do anything else. Off course the taste was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will go again for sure and will post some pictures then.
