FABULOUS! There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different this time: lamb, chicken kadhai, badami murg, chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, spinach pakoda, cauliflower appetizer. EVERYTHING was perfect and tasty and the service excellent (as always).Chai tea & Taj Beer, too. THANK YOU!

Taj Aiken is absolutely wonderful. We had never been here but the food is amazing. They have so many lamb dishes which is hard to find in the area. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting. The staff are very attentive and polite. This will be a regular dinner spot for us now! Easy access from alley/street parking.

Everything about this restaurant is delightful. The decor was very sweet, loved the images of India that looped on the screens. My partner had the lamb saag- it was absolutely delicious with flavor too big to contain on a plate. I had the goat chettinad- the goat was tender and seasoned to perfection. Paired with Indian beer and Naan- we had a home run dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Called in and ordered my food to-go. Showed up 30 min later and my food and drink was ready to go! In and out super quickly Food was DELICIOUS!! Vegetable biryani was amazing (and portion size was HUGE! Definitely have leftovers for tomorrow) and the garlic naan and veggie samosas were a hit! Mango lassi was creamy and delicious I will definitely be returning

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Aiken. Every time I pass through this area I make it a point to stop and enjoy the awesome food. You can't go wrong with any item that you order. I got the lamb pasanda (medium spice), chickpeas salad with garlic nan and everything was great! Cheers to the chefs and staff at Taj Aiken. I appreciate you for feeding a hungry soul really good food always!

Great service and food. Freshly cooked naan with the perfect mixture of crispy and soft texture, well cooked rice, and food with a mouth watering blend of spices. I ordered the Aloo Mutter, and I definitely wanted more, even though there’s a generous portion size. I cleaned out my dish! Delicious stuff

Had a potentially disastrous mistake in my take out order that was going to be dinner for us and 2 guests. But I am happy to report that when I recounted the error to Zack the Manager, he went out of his way to make it right for us!! That is the sign of excellent service and commitment to customer satisfaction! We love this restaurant and this experience made us love it even more!!

On behalf of the Carriage House Inn, we want to thank Taj for providing boxed lunches for the community. We only had four people on staff today and everyone really enjoyed the meal. We have and will continue to support their restaurant. We have recommended many guests and all have enjoyed.
