It seems they cater to locals almost entirely as I spoke in English but they still replied in Chinese. The food is very authentic and very good hoping you can order what you expect. Online ordering through QR code was very challenging if you can't read Chinese. Can't pay online need to pay at the register. Over half of the menu items don't have images or any in English or both. Contactless payment.
Pretty authentic place for Taiwanese breakfast! I really enjoyed the egg and pork floss crepe. The beef one was inferior. The salt and pepper pork was probably one of the best I’ve had. The pork dumplings were quite good as well. A little bit disappointed by the luroufan and youtiao.
We had our Christmas dinner here and it was wonderful! The salty tofu hua tastes great, tofu was super smooth. Pork feet was chewy, shrimps were delicious. Beef wrap was also one of the best in the Bay Area. Sweet soymilk was excellent, very good soybean aroma! The jasmine soy milktea was great as well, love the jasmine tea aroma! Everything was great!
We were trying to find lunch at an odd hour and bumped into this cafe like restaurant. It was practically empty at 3:30pm so we got very fast and good service. The oyster pancake is interesting. The noodle soups are both beef broth based and they really hit the spot.
After having my food there, I really feel like many high ratings and comments left here were for the free drinks offered by the restaurant.
My personal experience was just too bad. The oyster pancake was too fishy. The salty tofu hua had a really weird taste. Feel like the pot was over burnt. The salty soybean milk tasted too light. No taste of soybean milk at all. And it took more than half hour to get the Chinese fried donut to be served. It tasted like solid flour inside, which was really disappointed and definitely not authentic.
Came here on a Friday night with family and enjoyed it a ton!
Good:
- clean tasting food, felt like each dish was well proportioned for the price too
- Loved each dish - they all came out quickly and the service was so fast!
- the Taiwanese fried noodles, the egg pancake and the XLB were my favorites here
Bad:
- The interior isn’t too special, no frills venue and if you don’t speak Chinese it’s definitely harder to get your order through
Overall would come again! I liked the food and the service was too quick to pass up!
Pretty decent food. Good Taiwanese bento. The chicken is fried perfectly. The douhua tofu soup is not as delicious as my hometown’s flavor (nothing is better than my childhood’s favorite food) but man, it’s always nostalgic to have this dish here at the opposite place on the earth.
They list all the good Taiwanese food I like, so I decided to give it a try.
It's very disappointing. Most of the dishes I ordered tasted too sweet which it is not supposed to. The tea cup was dirty.
Guess I will not go again.

Really nice experience of a real, local Taiwanese izakaya style place with legit cooking. They even had the æå è¦é¤ , really similar in taste to Taiwan, but double the thickness.
One of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants in the South Bay. Incredibly large menu, and very authentic taste for most of the menu items. One of the few places where you can still enjoy a good bowl of oyster noodles, and also the oyster omelette is very
