First came 25 years ago and have so many wonderful memories here. Here we are today and Taiko is still serving wonderful sushi…and those fantastic portions haven’t changed! Always a wait, and always worth it!
Cute place! Really good food. I’m just sad that my favorite roll of spicy tuna 🍣 tasted a little strange, not like the normal ones at other places. I couldn’t really pin point what was weird about it though. 🤔But everything else was amazing and the food came out fast. 👌
Very good food, very attentive service. A place you have to try. I will be back without a doubt.
Solid spot for a nice Japanese meal. The chicken teriyaki is well cooked, their niku udon is warm and has good flavor. Personally have tried better sushi elsewhere but still a good spot.
I have been coming here for 20 years. I know that ownership has changed and it has been a year since I was last here but the quality of the fish and food has gone down significantly. I am so disappointed because this use to be my spot. The thing that set Taiko apart from the others was quality fish and rice at affordable prices. But as you can see from the California roll, it now looks like any other Japanese restaurant that you would go to. The salmon use to be fresh tasting, but this one left an oceany after taste. The albacore tasted like it had been left out and been around for days. I am so upset about this. Such a sad day. An institution of my childhood and young adulthood has changed so drastically for the worse. Service was good and the manager listened to me and answered my questions which I appreciated. Nothing to do though really. Just not a unique and great sushi spot anymore. Just like every other spot around.
Taiko Sushi offers a delightful culinary experience, especially when it comes to their California hand roll. The explosion of flavor and the fresh, high-quality ingredients truly stand out, making each bite an absolute delight. However, it's worth mentioning that their prices have seen an increase recently. This change has somewhat altered the perception of Taiko Sushi as a reasonably priced restaurant. Despite the exceptional quality, the new price range may not align with all customers' expectations or budgets.
Taiko has always been in Irvine for as long as I've known, like a loyal friend. Offering decent and filling meals but lacking any standouts that would make it great.
We had the sushi here, including one of the special rolls. The food was seriously fantastic. The service was also good. But the dining area could really use a renovation. I would definitely go back for take out.
Very popular Japanese peppercorn meals, cooked at your table on a sizzling hot skillet! I highly recommend their Jumbo beef peppercorn with rice. Be sure to add mushrooms, garlic chips, and onions. The platter arrives at your table, already season
One of the best Japanese resto, legit the taste of their foods, highly recommended their Tonkotsu Ramen & takoyaki, plus our server Alex is the best. Definitely, we will come back.
The best gym that anyone could seriously hope for â fun and dynamic classes, awesome coaches and a super supportive community of folks. As a person who has limited experience working out in a structured setting, I was really intimidated at first bu
I continue to be amazed by the many walking and hiking trails in Irvine. This mixed use trail is shared by walkers, cyclists, and when we were there, a skate boarder. There is a main paved path with spurs covered with decomposed granite. You can fol
This restaurant boasts a cute outdoor seating decorated with lights and flowers. If possible, I'd recommend sitting outside for the ambiance and little noisy street traffic compared to the loud indoor environment. What we ordered: - Seafood special
If youâre looking for a very large park thatâs relatively hidden from view unless you know exactly where it is, then this is a place for you! Big wide open space is surrounded by a lot of trees with a small river flowing through it. Plenty of opt
I've lived in The Alton for nearly 2 years now and it's been an excellent experience all round. Everything including my initial tour, the lease signing, move in, adding someone to the lease has been nothing but easy. The building is kept clean, manag
Hidden gem right next to the iconic Woodbridge footbridge is the North Lake Park. The park juts out over the water so when swinging on the swings you could feel like you are soaring over water and who doesn't love that? Besides the swing set there is
