This place is an icon in tahoe, the rooms have been converted into studio and 1 bedroom apartments. The owners are nice. Neighbors are an eclectic group of friendly folk or those that keep to themselves! Warm, cozy and 5 blocks from lake tahoe! Perfect!
Its not a functioning hotel, it is a run down poor excuse of a structure that the owners use to fund their drug addictions. Darren and John cobrae need to be run out of this town, we would all be much better off. The pictures are of some other place aswell

Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
