Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club - Resort hotel in Tahoe Vista - 7680 N Lake Blvd, USA

We return here for a week most years. The staff is welcoming and responsive, the 1- and 2-bedroom units are homey & well equipped; kitchen and bath amenities are sufficient. Very few units are alike. Best of all, the property fronts on the lake with less than 50 steps to a soft sand beach and a long pier with an elevated seating area. It has been a great experience every month of the year.

I just came back from a one week stay there with my family. The facilities and location were adequate. Ski resorts in the area were not very far away. Overall, a pleasant stay. I appreciated the front office staff and considered them to be very professional and kind. I DID NOT APPRECIATE, some salesman on their staff who accused me on several consecutive days that I had a dog in my unit. I had no pets with me and spent several hundreds of dollars to have a pet sitter take care of my dogs back home. Because of him, the office staff called me in the middle of the day asking if I had a dog. I told them, I did not. Then the next day another office worker came by the unit and asked if I had a dog. I told them, I did not. Up to which point I was bothered, but fine. Then the next day when I spoke to another office worker, she said that someone had observed what appeared to be a water bowl placed right in front of my unit. At that point I knew that everything was a fabricated lie. Mr. Salesman either did not have the right information, but more likely was trying to give me a hard time. In the end, I did not appreciate his actions one bit. No apologies, no conversations, just third hand accusations. Not a nice way to run a business.

It was great! We couldn't get the oven to turn on so we used their outdoor grills for a few meals. There was no air conditioning, but they had fans and we opened the windows. The WiFi was for the most part adequate. Everything looks very nice, and the beach and nearby experiences are superb.

The room was nice and clean when we checked in. It has all the necessities and access to King's Beach! There are a lot of great amenities and the staff was very friendly! We had a late check-in through air bnb, and they were willing to come to the property and give us a key. It was a great place to stay during our trip, and I would definitely book here again!

I love the location and all the extras like leaving Sleds out for everyone to use or having popcorn at the office for kids to take. It’s a charming resort that allows families to have fun. I e been in the summer time too, we love this place.

Terrible management. Absolutely terrible and rude. They were mad that we had brought a van. We didn’t know that was a rule. Then they straight banned us for ever going back. All for brining it back to load up our stuff. We parked for maybe 10 min to load our stuff. And left. Idk what was going on with the main manager. She was crazy out of control.

Good spot overall but management has taken a turn in the last few years. Paid to stay and they wouldn’t let us park our car in the lot (there were plenty of spots) Told us to park at the neighboring business instead, which clearly said no overnight parking.

Our stay at the place was truly memorable! We had booked a two bedroom/bathroom unit, but upon arriving, the receptionist graciously offered to switch our room to one that faced the lake. We had a totally unobstructed view of the sunrise and sunset, and it was a truly beautiful sight. Additionally, we were only a short drive away from over a dozen ski resorts, so it was the perfect winter getaway! I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
