Hotel staff were wonderful all very nice and accommodating! The hotel is in an awesome spot to literally everything walking distance parking was always available. The hotel itself needs work, it was dirty and our room wasn’t very clean at all, the AC barely worked and for some reason our room keys always stopped working the hallways always smelt like cigarettes. The breakfast was great! And we enjoyed the pool! It was very well maintained .
BED BUGS AND BLACK MOLD
The breakfast was cold and the room was absolutely filthy. The entire hotel smells like a nursing home and is very old. There is black mold on the walls, behind the bed, and on the bathroom ceiling.
Additionally, ***This hotel had bed bugs***. We requested to be moved to a different room and immediately requested an entire refund for our trip while we had to pack up at 3am, bag our clothes, and head to the laundromat. Do yourself a favor and BOOK ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Loved the location of the hotel so close to everything. Room was nice and big and loved the wood through out the room. We had a room that included breakfast which was very tasty. The pool was added bonus also. Will book again next time we visit tahoe
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!! ZERO STARS. I WALK INTO MY ROOM AFTER CHECK-IN AND OTHER PEOPLE'S BELONGINGS AND FAST FOOD CUPS WERE IN MY ROOM. I GO DOWNSTAIRS AND THE FRONT DESK GUY ACTED AS IF IT WAS THE GUEST'S ISSUE NOT THEIRS AND GAVE SO MUCH ATTITUDE. ISSUED A REFUND BUT DIDNT OFFER A NEW ROOM OR ANYTHING TO MAKE UP FOR THE EXPERIENCE. ON TOP OF THAT, PEOPLE WERE BLASTING MUSIC ON THE FIRST FLOOR LIKE IT WAS A PARTY HOUSE AND HE OWNED THE HOUSE. PLEASE STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. QUALITY INN DOWN THE ROAD IS A GREAT OPTION.. VERY COZY, QUIET AND NO ONE WILL BE STAYING IN YOUR ROOM!!!!!
DO NOT BOOK!! Had a terrible experience in this hotel. My check in was at 4 PM which is later than any hotel I’ve ever stayed. I got to the hotel and they told me my rooms were not ready. They ended up giving me access to my room at 6 PM, two hours after. Not only that they gave me a room without A/C and said that I had not payed for it. I booked 3 rooms all together and it never said I had to pay for A/C. Terrible experience, please do not stay there.
The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.
(Down one star for our ground fl
Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
